When I heard earlier this week that Adele was covering the October 2011 issue of BRITISH VOGUE, I was estactic. After coming off of a jaw dropping performance at the 2011 MTV VMA'S, Adele is still making noise. The singer looks beautiful on the cover that just features a head shot of her with long curly locks. Makes you wonder though, why they didn't do a full length photo? Could it be that they are still hiding behind the image of what a cover model should look like, skinny? However I still like the cover. In the issue Adele talks about her pre-show ritual, the industry's obsession with weight and more. The issue hits newsstand tomorrow September 8th.
On being single:
“I do get massively distracted when I’ve got someone in my life, which I can’t afford to do right now. Besides, no one treats me as well as I do.”
On the entertainment industry’s obsession with weight:
“I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don’t want that in my life. I have insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.”
