Beyonce for Vogue March 2013

Beyonce is continuing her 2013 takeover coming off the heels of her GQ magazine cover, Super bowl performance, a world tour, new album and now the cover girl for the March 2013 issue of VOGUE magazine.

On the cover, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, The 'Queen of Music' is wearing a black and white structured GIVENCHY ensemble. Flawless make-up and a bun with side swept bangs completed her gorgeous look.

You can also see her in more designer looks by Marni, Alexander McQueen, Haider Ackerman and Oscar de la Renta.

In the issue, the "End of Time" singer opens up about giving birth, her BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, her new family life and firing her father as her manager & more. Continue to read some excerpts from the issue and to see the full spread. For more details go to Vogue.com.

On "Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream:
"This movie has healed me in so many ways.....It makes me want to cry. I’m sorry, I’m very passionate about it, and it just feels good.”

On giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy:
“I felt very maternal around eight months. And I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby. . . . But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain. . . . We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.”
On her new family life:
“I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more. Family has always been important. I’ve always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it’s just… Life is so much more than… It’s not defined by any of this.”

On her new music:
“It's a lot more sensual . . . empowering....Right now, after giving birth, I really understand the power of my body, I just feel my body means something completely different. I feel a lot more confident about it. Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. I feel a lot more like a woman. More feminine, more sensual. And no shame.”
