Miley Cyrus is set to host the VMA's this Sunday but for now check her out on the October 2015 cover of ELLE UK magazine which is their 30th anniversary issue. On the cover, Miley is braless of course in a white EMPORIO ARMANI suit. In the issue, MC talks about her role as a gender activist and a politically engaged young woman who's on a mission to make the world more tolerant, and gender and sexual identities less fixed. Continue below to read some excerpts from her interview. For more on Miley's feature, visit ELLEUK.com and pick up a copy on newsstand on September 3rd.
On her 'The Happy Hippie Foundation':
‘I was kind of embarrassed that I got paid money to shake my ass in a teddy bear costume. I should not be worth the amount I am while people live on the streets.’
On how she commands attention:
‘If you get your tits out, and they are all looking, then you can use that space to say something and get them to listen."
On her opinion on gender & relationship:
I’m very open about it – I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.’
