Emma Stone on the November 2016 Cover of Vogue Magazine

As the November 2016 cover star for Vogue magazine, Emma Stone looks unrecognizable. In the issue, she talks her new film La La Land, being single, playing Billie Jean King and more. Continue below to see her fashion spread and to read excerpts from her interview. Bottega Veneta

On taking the role for 'La La Land':
The reason I wanted to do it was because Damien(the Director) was so passionate. But I think I freaked out 40 times.

On working with Ryan Gosling in the film:
It was nice to be friends with the person you’re doing all this crazy stuff with—learning to ballroom dance or sing duets live.

On playing Billie Jean King:
I’d never played a real person before and to play someone who was just totally fully formed and inspiring. . . . Billie Jean is a firecracker. She’s bold and funny and I love her.

On ending her relationship with Andrew Garfield and being single:
Someone I still love very much. I’m really glad you’re sitting down so I can tell you. It’s been interesting. It’s been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons.

  1. Love the cover. Very twiggy.

  2. I like the entire spread, except in that second shot, the Bottega Veneta, the skirt is SO crooked! It bugs!!! Lol!
