Gabrielle Union is currently on the promo tour for 'The Birth of a Nation' and she is also the November 2016 cover star of Essence magazine. On the cover which was shot by Dennis Leupold, Gabrielle looks great wearing a LANVIN FALL 2016 patent leather & chiffon trim belted trench coat dress which was topped off with a selection of rings and a complimentary beauty look. On working behind the scenes:
I don’t just want to be a hired gun. I want to have a little bit more control over the narrative. The only way I can be empowered to do that is to be a producer. Now with as many projects that will have me, it’s part of the deal.
On being married to Dwayne Wade & them raising boys in this world:
Until they walk through the door, I’m terrified. Sometimes I just want to stay off my timeline, because it makes those waits until they walk through the door a thousand times worse. One of my biggest fears is them being a hashtag on some bulls—t.
