Chrissy Teigen on the January 2017 Cover of ELLE Australia

Heading into the new year on the right foot, Chrissy Teigen is the January 2017 cover star for ELLE Australia. On the cover which was shot by Mike Rosenthal, Chrissy is wearing a HERMES shirt and a MATTEAU SWIM black briefs. In the issue, she keeps it real about being naked, giving birth and so much more. Continue below to read some excerpts from her interview and to see her fashion spread. For more on Chrissy's feature, visit Elle.com.au and pick up a copy on newsstand today.

On how she felt after giving birth:
I think you just feel really feminine. I always felt like a bit of a tomboy, and I never looked at my body as particularly sexual—I wasn’t a curvy girl. But to be able to see my body afterwards, and of course you get, like, hips. Finally, for the first time, I feel like I have a bit more of a womanly figure.

On why she’s most comfortable naked:
I would much rather shoot completely naked than in a swimsuit, it’s just always been my thing. I’ve never been much of a beach girl. I grew up in Washington—it’s freezing in that ocean. So it’s out of my comfort zone, and it’s the craziest thing that I’m probably most known for Sports Illustrated, when that how I feel the most uncomfortable.

On her smart clothes-shopping trick:
I only shop online basically. Whatever my stylist Monica Rose puts me in, I order it in every colour, in usually two different sizes because I fluctuate.
