On loving Fifty Shades rumors about her & Dornan:
I’m truly proud of it. It’s a cool story, and I think it’s different, and different is what I’m about. We hate each other and we’re having an affair, so everybody’s right. How about that?

On fame:
No one wants to say that they want to be famous, nobody wants to sound like they like being famous, nobody wants to sound ungrateful, nobody wants to sound like they’re in denial. It’s a scary word. What is the literal definition anyway?

On starting therapy at age 3:
The whole shebang. All the help you can get. I was so consistently unmoored and discombobulated. I didn’t have an anchor anywhere. I never learned how to learn the way you’re supposed to as a kid. I thought, Why do I have to go to school on time? What’s the point when you’re living in Budapest for six months while your stepdad films Evita and you go to school in your hotel room? I was a disaster, and I thought for so long that there was something wrong with my brain. Now I realize that it just works in a different way.

On where she is in life:
I finally feel that I’m in the right place at the right time in my life, collaborating with artists who elevate me. A few years ago, I was fighting, waiting for someone to give me a chance. I’m a pretty sensitive person, and when I don’t feel protected, I tend to close right up. But when I feel safe, I think I can do anything.

  3. Agree on the hair. Cool cut. She's really coming into her own style-wise. I like all of these looks especially the Proenza Schouler dress and sandals.
