Elle Fanning on the June 2017 Cover of Vogue Magazine

Elle Fanning is sitting pretty as the June 2017 cover star of Vogue magazine. On the cover which was shot by Annie Leibovitz, Elle is wearing a VALENTINO SPRING 2017 COUTURE gown. In the issue, she talks her temper, wanting to be a director, working with female directors and more. Continue below to read some excepts from her interview and to see her fashion spread. Loewe jacket and skirt. Manolo Blahnik boots (worn throughout).

On having a huge temper:
My mom and my sister are always like, ‘That’s not something you brag about. But I tell strangers—I’m also very trusting of people—like, ‘I get so mad!’

On wanting to be a director:
I definitely, definitely want to do that. As an actor, you’re exploring someone else’s vision. I’d like to be able to create that vision instead.

On her social world thinning & meeting new people:
Will I be in CafĂ© du Monde? Will there be a spotlight on someone? I don’t know where to find these people. But I also don’t want to screw with the magic of organically finding someone. We’re just going with the flow. We haven’t learned, you know, the hard ways of the world. We’re not humans yet.
