Oprah Winfrey on the March 2018 Cover of InStyle Magazine

The world is ready for Oprah Winfrey to be president but the real question, is she ready? The business mogul and actress is the March 2018 cover star of InStyle magazine. On the cover which was shot by Phil Poynter, Oprah is wearing a GUCCI embroidered jacket. In the issue, she talks if she will run in 2020, woman today and so much more. Continue below to read some excerpts from her interview. For more on Oprah's feature, visit InStyle.com and pick up a copy on newsstand.

On running for president in 2020:
I’ve always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it’s not something that interests me. I don’t have the DNA for it. I met with someone the other day who said that they would help me with a campaign. That’s not for me. Gayle—who knows me as well as I know myself practically—has been calling me regularly and texting me things, like a woman in the airport saying, ‘When’s Oprah going to run?’ So Gayle sends me these things, and then she’ll go, ‘I know, I know, I know! It wouldn’t be good for you—it would be good for everyone else.’

On woman today:
“Everything that’s happened has brought us to this point in time. We’ve been working our way through a lot of repressed pain, anger, shame, and disappointment. And we weren’t honoring our own voices. Now we’re here, and it took Harvey Weinstein to burst that door wide open. Finally everyone has to start paying attention. It’s cracked open. It takes a lot for people to wake up and see things differently than they’ve seen them before.
