On Wednesday(April 8th) Elle Fanning was spotted leaving the Live with Kelly & Mark studios following her appearance where she was on hand to promote her new film 'Margo's Got Money Troubles' in New York.
Whether she is wearing her go to designer brands or not, Elle's style choices are still unpredictable. On this occasion, she chose a look from the AUGUST BARRON FALL 2026 collection which she accessorized with CARTIER jewelry and JIMMY CHOO mules.
This is an interesting look, but it feels more editorial in my opinion. An ensemble like this can be hard to translate from the runway to the red carpet as you can see here. I always love that she takes fashion risk, but I'm not loving this. A colored lip was added to avoid a washout, but that didn't help.
Also, the light blue bow on the top and the white bow on the tulle skirt are competing with each other. With that being said, I wonder how this would have looked if the skirt was brown instead of white. What are your thoughts on Elle's look?
