24th British Independent Film Awards

The  24th British Independent Film Awards took place yesterday evening(December 5th) in London at the Old Billingsgate and the celebs were serving looks on the red carpet. 

Caitriona Balfe definitely stood out in this ALEXANDR MCQUEEN RESORT 2022 ensemble. Now the two pieces together are just too fussy and I don't think she needed such a heavy eye. With that being said, I can't say that I like this on her but I do like it better on the model.

Alice Eve and Hannah John-Kamen made their way back to the red carpet this evening(February 2nd) in London for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Alice Eve stepped out in a FALL 2017 COUTURE mint platinum Chantilly lace gown featuring layers of silk fringe, pearlescent beads and petite flower sequins. This definitely looks better in motion but to compliment the neckline, she should have worn her hair in a side parted, pinned up-do.

Yesterday evening(October 9th) Porter's Third Annual Incredible Women Gala took place at The Ebell of Los Angeles in LA. 

Miranda Kerr is back wearing a BALENCIAGA FALL 2018 black & gold mini dress and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI 'Harmony' sandals. 

Gabrielle Union's look was very disappointing, especially compared to the other attendees. This SALVATORE FERRAGAMO RESORT 2019 coat, top & white pants are great pieces but feels very casual for the event. A BY FAR bag and FRYE boots finished up her look. 

Storm Reid looked beautiful head to toe wearing a EMPORIO ARMANI FALL 2018 embellished mini dress and SCHUTZ sandals.

Violet Grey Event Wrap-up

Emmy Rossum and more stepped out yesterday evening(July 11th) for the Violet Grey Event at the Violet Grey Store in LA. 

Emma Roberts wore a ROLAND MOURET FALL 2018 see-through black & lame shirt with the matching skirt. Instead of wearing black or metallic sandals, Emma opted for a camel colored heels by JIMMY CHOO which don't work for me. Her look is too dark for the season but it is cute. A beaded DIOR chain strap bag and pink lips finished up her look. 

Jaime King wore a ALICE + OLIVIA FALL 2018 black ruffle lace dress with a high neckline and contrasting white stripe panels. The bodice of the dress was lined for coverage. While I like the dress, it's the accessories that doesn't coordinate with it. She finished up with straight tresses and a red lip.

Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards

The  Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards which was presented by Max Mara, Lancôme and Lexus, took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday(June 13th) in Beverly Hills, California. All of the guest were wearing MAX MARA unless otherwise stated. 

Alison Brie wore a navy strapless stain top and navy trousers which she teamed perfectly with PIERRE HARDY sandals. A gold necklace and center part waves finished up her look. 

Alexandra Shipp who was this year's honoree, wore a green floor length halter dress. Her dress was styled with BELADORA jewelry, a JIMMY CHOO clutch and MALONE SOULIERS heels which topped off her look along with a complimentary beauty look. 

Katherine Langford wore a long sleeve black velvet ankle length dress with a low, scoop neck back. The dress feels too heavy for LA and I don't think it suits her.

Alice Eve & Hermione Corfield at the 'Bees Make Honey' 2017 Raindance Film Festival Premiere

On Saturday(September 23rd) Alice Eve & Hermione Corfield hit the red carpet at the premiere of 'Bees Make Honey' during the 2017 Raindance Film Festival at the Vue Cinemas in London.

Alice Eve wore a SIMONE ROCHA FALL 2017 sleeveless black & red floral embroidered, layered tulle dress styled simply with black sandals. Alice exact dress wasn't featured on the runway but it was shown in a different version. I like the dress but I kinda wish it was a knee length version. A side parted bob and red lips finished up her look. 

Hermione Corfield wore a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2017 light blue fur coat with a contrasting red bow satin neck tie. Light blue eyeshadow as a bit much and I prefer the look book styling. A high ponytail and blue platform sandals finished up her look.
