Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alison Pill & Jessica Chastain at the 2016 AFI Fest Miss Sloane LA Screening

On Friday(November 11th) Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alison Pill & Jessica Chastain hit the red carpet at the 2016 AFI Fest screening of 'Miss Sloane' at the TCL Chinese Theatres in LA.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw wore a long sleeve sheer white organza ERDEM RESORT 2017 embellished ruffled knee length layered dress with a button neck collar. On this occasion, I don't mind the black suede ankle strap pumps as they worked with this dress. However her look doesn't excite and I am not a fan of the dress in general. Kohl rimmed eyes, a curly up-do and a black clutch finished up her look. 

Alison Pill worked her baby bumps in a black JULIET HOGAN semi-sheer dress which she accessorized with SYDNEY EVAN jewelry, a pewter satin clutch and ALDO shoes. I think a sleeker hairstyle would have complimented her look. 

Jessica Chastain stood out among her cast mates wearing a custom PRADA purple strapless hi lo hem dress with turquoise satin underlining and a deep, bow detail neckline. Instead of wearing a strappy sandal, Jessica opted for matching LOUBOUTIN studded pumps. I don't care for the top of the dress but I love the color combo and this is not a bad look. A sleek, braided hairstyle, a colored lip and PIAGET jewelry finished up her look.

Hail, Caesar! LA Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Jenna Dewan, Alison Pil, Amal & George Clooney & Channing Tatum hit the red carpet yesterday evening at the Hail, Caesar! premiere at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, CA. 

Alison Pil wore a TALBOT RUNHOF PRE-FALL 2016 strapless purple floral jacquard dress. While I thought this was a great look, a simple ankle strap sandal would have been the ideal choice here over her black pumps. 

Amal Clooney was on hand to support hubby George, wore a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI COUTURE white & red floral embroidered flare mini dress. Again, a simple ankle strap sandal would have worked better here over her silver metallic DIOR pumps but the look is very tween which is something that she seems to always gravitate towards. A matching red lip and a curly up-do completed her look. 

George Clooney kept it simple in a charcoal grey two-piece suit which he paired with a black knit turtleneck and black shiny oxfords. I just wish the suit was a bit more neater because all those creases are a bit distracting. 

Channing Tatum wore a ERMENGILDO ZEGNA COUTURE COLLECTION three-piece grey plaid suit styled with an grey tie, a white shirt & pocket square and shiny oxfords. Ugh, just like George, those creases & wrinkles 

really takes away from his look.
