On Monday(December 10th) the world premiere of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King' took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Blue Ivy looked like a beautiful, golden princess wearing a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO strapless metallic gown with a short train in the back and a nipped wist. My only quibble is that I wish that this was a straight neckline and not a sweetheart. Still, she looked beautiful.

Anika Noni Rose & Darby Stanchfield at the A Legacy of Changing Lives Gala

Yesterday evening(March 13th) Anika Noni Rose and Darby Stanchfield hit the red carpet at the A Legacy of Changing Lives Gala which was presented by The Fulfillment Fund at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, CA.

Anika Noni Rose wore a pink JOVANI one-shoulder dress with a pleated detail waist and a asymmetrical skirt. While I like the color on her that pleat detail makes the dress look unflattering. A complimentary beauty look, SIMRAN RIHAL clutch, KARIN JAMIESON jewelry and VINCE CAMUTO sandals finished up her look.  

Darby Stanchfield wore a MAGDA BUTRYM red long sleeve, floor length dress with a cold-shoulder detail, a draped panel skirt and a split skirt. I would have like to see a strappy sandal here but instead she opted for red suede JIMMY CHOO pumps. NEIL LANE jewelry, dark lashes and a side parted bun finished up her look.

Anika Noni Rose in Thai Nguyen Atelier at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards

On hand as a presenter, Anika Noni Rose hit the red carpet this evening(September 17th) at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Serving up a little cleavage action, she wore a custom THAI NGUYEN ATELIER sleeveless blush deep v-neck ballgown with a bugle beaded embroidered bodice and a belted waist. 

I would have loved to see her with a complimentary colored lip and a less cleavage but she still looked beautiful. A natural curly up-do and ANDREA GROUSSMAN earrings finished up her look.

BET's 2017 Black Girls Rock! Awards Wrap-up

Issa Rae, Traji P. Henson and more were on the red carpet on Saturday(August 5th) for the 2017 Black Girls Rock! awards at NJPAC in Newark, New Jersey.

Yara Shahidi who was an honoree, wore an ELIE SAAB PRE-FALL 2017 purple long-sleeve knit dress with sheer panels, a tie neck, ruffle cuffs and a belted waist. Natural curls and gold ankle strap pumps finished up her great look. 

Anika Noni Rose showed a little leg in a DENNIS BASSO strapless ruffle floral dress with a hi-lo hem detail. ALEXIS BITTAR earrings, a ATELIER SWAROVSKI ring & clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Tiffany Haddish was also an honoree, wearing a OTT DUBAI champagne & printed panel button front dress with a belted waist and a red bra underneath. I think it's the printed panel on the shoulders & flap pocket that's throwing me off. They should have removed that. A CEECODE clutch and GUCCI sandals finished up her look.

Anika Noni Rose in Sachin + Babi & Tadashi Shoji at the 'Roots' 2016 MIP TV Photocall & Opening Night Gala

Serving up some color, Anika Noni Rose attended the 'Roots' photocall at the 2016 MIP TV conference and opening night Gala in Cannes, France.

At the photo call which was held beach side, she looked great in SACHIN + BABI SPRING 2016 yellow & cobalt blue short sleeve floral jacquard fit 'n' flare dress. Anika is wearing a altered version of the dress which wasn't featured in the look book. Playing off of the hues on her dress, she wore cobalt blue LORIBLU pumps. A metallic clutch, a ponytail with tendrils and kohl rimmed eyes topped off her look. 

Later on she attended the opening night gala wearing a mustard turtleneck halter dress with an embellished neckline, a cut-out waist, red pipping and a pleated chiffon layered skirt. I like the color because it looks so great on her but I wish the embellished neckline was removed. Once again, playing off her the color on her dress, she accessorized with a red SWAROVSKI clutch & red ELISABETTA FRANCHI pumps. A red lip and a complimentary up-do completed her look.
