2019 Writers Guild Awards L.A. Ceremony

The  2019 Writers Guild Awards L.A. Ceremony took place yesterday evening(February 17th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Janet Mock worked a look hot of the NYFW runway, from the BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2019 collection. Her black & copper sequin, nude and sheer panel asymmetrical slip dress was accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN earrings and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. On this occasion, I am thankful that she didn't wear black pumps but the nude works perfectly. Also the addition of the black leather belt worked in her favor.

Viola Davis in Bibhu Mohapatra at the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards

Viola Davis almost always wears color on the carpet, in which she looks divine in but sometimes she tends to wear basic colors which she works as well. The actress attended the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday(October 26th).

On hand as a presenter, she wore the BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2017 white floor gazing gown, featuring contrasting black fan bugle beaded embroidery and one cap sleeve. 

The creases under the bust are a tad annoying but you can't deny how elegantly beautiful Viola looks here. Beauty look was flawless which topped off her look along with KALLATI earrings and a TYLER ELLIS clutch.

On Friday(March 10th) Kaley Cuoco and Katharine McPhee hit the red carpet for the 2018 Ties & Tails Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, CA.

Kaley Cuoco made a shiny entrance wearing a BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2017 long sleeve multi sequin embroidered mosaic A-line dress which was lined for coverage. While I am not always a fan of Kaley's look, I do like this. CASADEI Mary Jane's, smokey eyes and side parted waves finished up her look. 

Katharine McPhee looked great in a DAVID KOMA SPRING 2018 white one-shoulder floor sweeping dress with a belted waist and a ruffle side split with contrasting black pipping. A pop of color came via her red lip. A black clutch & sandals finished up her look.

Following her attendance at a pre-party, Allison Janney was on hand for the 71st EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) this evening(February 18th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

She hit the red carpet wearing a BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2018 two-tone floor length dress which featured a gold long sleeve, cutout top and a black velvet dress.

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' London Premiere Wrap-up

Following the LA premiere, Laura Dern & Kelly Marie Tran along with Tallia Storm, joined Daisy Ridley & Gwendoline Christie at the 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' premiere yesterday evening(December 12th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Laura Dern wore a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN RESORT 2018 pink strapless feather gown. Love this dress but I am not feeling the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN  black boots with it. It just feels heavy 

with such a light, feathery feminine dress. Also I don't think the dress in general suits Laura. I don't see her as a McQueen girl and I believe that if this was on the right person, it could have been a win. ARA VARTANIAN jewelry, side parted waves and a fuchsia lip finished up her look. 

Kelly Marie Tran wore a white long sleeve BIBHU MOHAPATRA SPRING 2017 gown with featured a pearl beaded mock top and a layered tulle skirt. This is quite the princess moment for the actress and she looks lovely. However the bodice is very ill-fitting.

Tallia Storm wore a shimmery GUCCI gold floor length dress with a crossover v-neckline, a contrasting pink bow, tie waist and a split detail. A braided up-do, smokey eyes and light pink ankle strap sandals finished up her look.

Mary J. Blige in Bibhu Mohapatra at the at the HFPA & InStyle Golden Globe Awards 75th Anniversary Celebration

Following her attendance at the Governors awards, Mary J. Blige attended the HFPA and InStyle celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Globe Awards at Catch last night(November 15th) in LA.

She hit the black carpet wearing a BIBHU MOHAPATRA SPRING 2018 black dress which featured long sheer, feather embroidered sleeves, a sheer yoke, a v-neckline and a contrasting pink satin waistband. 

I really want to snatch those sleeves off and cut-out that sheer yoke. Also I prefer the runway shoes her her simple black pumps. Love that she is working it but this is also a no for me. Are you feeling MJB's look?

Demi Lovato wore a BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2017 red long sleeve beaded knee length dress with a sheer illusion, cut-out bodice and a cinched waist. Demi's dress hit the runway in a longer, center front split version. Although the shorter version suits her, the sheer illusion cut-out bodice doesn't. HUEB & HEARTS ON FIRE jewelry, GIANVITO ROSSI sandals and a flawless beauty look finished up her look. 

Skylar Grey wore a MICHELLE MASON PRE-FALL 2017 black one long sleeve mini dress with a strapless detail and a tie waist. This dress is giving me Saint Laurent Fall 2017 vibes. A black clutch & sandals, off-the-shoulder waves and red lips finished up her look

Following her attendance at the Variety brunch, Annalise Basso attended the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards this evening(January January 29th) at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 

If Annalise wanted to make an memorable impact when she hit the red carpet, she did so in this BIBHU MOHAPATRA FALL 2016 red chiffon layered gown. Her gown featured dramatic cape sleeves, a satin off-the-shoulder detail and a beaded embroidered panel waist.

Annalise gown featured thin straps on the shoulder which she removed and did not need. She seemed to be having fun with her gown as she played a lot with the sleeves while on the carpet. Statement earrings, minimal make-up and a half up half down hairstyle finished up her beautiful look.

Yara Shahidi in Off-White & Bibhu Mohapatra at the 43rd People's Choice Awards

On hand as a presenter, Yara Shahidi attended the 43rd People's Choice Awards yesterday(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. She wore two different looks for the occasion. 

For the red carpet, she wore a OFF-WHITE SPRING 2017 black & white harlequin printed chiffon ruffled floor length dress. I love this dress and I think Yara is beautiful but this is not for her. It is basically swallowing her and is suited for someone on the taller side.

While inside, she changed into a BIBHU MOHAPATRA SPRING 2017 ensemble to present on stage. Her look featured a sheer white long sleeve top with a contrasting black ruffled panel and a printed skirt. It appears that the split was closed on Yara's skirt which did not hurt her look. Also I wish the ruffled panel on the top sat on her like it did on the model. However I still like this playful look over her first one. ADE SAMUEL red sandals finished up her look.
