Lena Dunham in Co at the 2016 Matrix Awards

On Monday(April 25th) Lena Dunham hit the red carpet at the 2016 Matrix Awards which was held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. 

For the occasion, she wore a CO SPRING 2016 long sleeve crinkle water color knee length dress with a flare skirt. I actually like this dress for Lena but it's the fit of the top and the styling that doesn't sell it. 

The hair & make-up are not complimentary and even though I like her BIONDA CASTANA pumps in general, a simple ankle strap sandal would have been ideal here. Also her pose is helping but still one of her better looks. What do you think of Lena's look?

Along with Angela Bassett, Holland Roden hit the red carpet at the premiere of London Has Fallen at Arclight Cinemas in LA yesterday evening.

The young starlet stood out in a NOVIS SPRING 2016 dress which featured a white one-shoulder split strap top and a cobalt blue, lime green & orange color-block long back split skirt. 

Holland's beauty look which featured a bold orange lip and a sleek high ponytail enhanced the appeal of her look. The dress fits her nicely and her overall look was chic & polished to perfection. EFFY earrings, a MEIRA T ring, an AMANDA PEARL clutch and BIONDA CASTANA sandals topped off her look.

Following the LA screening, Teresa Palmer jetted here to NYC for the AOL Build Series Presents: Teresa Palmer, Benjamin Walker, and Nicholas Sparks discussing the release of their new film 'The Choice' at the AOL Studios. 

She stepped out in the CAMILLA & MARC FALL 2015 'Empathetic' Spearmint printed European jacquard crop top the matching 'Void' dirndl style skirt. 

Teresa could have easily paired her tonal green ensemble with black sandals or pumps but instead she chose to highlight the contrasting tones in the print with the BIONDA CASTANA 'Bay' light blue suede & mesh pumps. On this occasion, I kinda wish she went for a lighter lip shade but she still looked great overall. Side parted straight tresses completed her look. Much better than her Prada look don't you agree?

I know many were hoping that the sheer trend stayed in 2015 but it has carried over to 2016. Portia Doubleday was on tune with the blue carpet yesterday evening at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

The 'Mr. Robot' actress wore a NOVIS SPRING 2016 sheer long sleeve black mesh and navy, orange & light blue floral embroidered dress with a black bra & high waist briefs underneath.

Following her attendance at the FOX party, January Jones hit the blue carpet at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards at Barker Hangar yesterday evening in Santa Monica, California.

Rocking a summery look, she wore a ALTUZARRA SPRING 2016 light blue beaded embroidered v-neck dress with a sheer side split skirt. January's dress was altered from the runway version which was sheer from the thigh down. 

Her altered version worked and I thought she pulled off the look. However the dress looks a bit tight in the bust but still a great look for the occasion. BIONDA CASTANA sandals, a metallic eye and a complimentary up-do completed her look. Which version do you prefer, January's or the runway's?
