'Lanterns' LA Premiere

On Thursday(August 13th) the green carpet premiere of DC Studios ''Lanterns'' was held at the Paramount Theatre on in LA.

Jasmine Cephas Jones wore a white turtleneck dress with a ruffle hem by PRABAL GURUNG. This is a simple but pretty look which could have been elevated with silver or gold jewelry. 

Aaron Pierre wore a custom look by BOSS which he accessorized with a lantern necklace as homage to the title character of the series in which he plays. He looked great.

On Sunday(April 12th) some celebs hit the carpet for the 2026 The Olivier Awards with Cunard which was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Cate Blanchett wore a LANVIN FALL 2026 black cold-shoulder long dress with a cutout waist detail and a slit. I like the dress in theory, but I'm not feeling the cutout waist detail.

On Thursday(January 30th) the BOSS One x David Beckham fashion launch event was held at Lightroom, in King's Cross in London. All of the guests were wearing BOSS.

Jodie Turner-Smith wore a SPRING 2025 ensemble and I actually prefer the runway's color way. The pants look better in black. I don't mind the top in either color or the design of the top, but the runway's presentation is better.

Mia McKenna-Bruce in Boss for the 2025 EE Bafta Film Awards Nominations

This morning(January 15th) in London, Mia McKenna-Bruce hit the red carpet to help announce the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards Nominations at the BAFTA.

For the occasion, she turned to BOSS, wearing a striped melange cloth jacket with the matching high-waisted, flare leg trousers. Generally speaking, I think this was a great ensemble choice for the early morning occasion. 

However, it wasn't the right fit for Mia. The loose, shape trousers doesn't come off as flattering on her and I feel like the pants is more suited for someone on the taller side. 

I do however think she can somehow pull off flare leg trousers, but she needs a style that's more suited for her height. What do you think of Mia's look?

Lupita Nyong'o in Boss at the 74th Berlinale International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

On hand as a jury member, Lupita Nyong'o made her way back to the red carpet during the 74th Berlinale International Film Festival for the closing ceremony which was held at Berlinale Palast on Saturday(February 24) in Berlin, Germany.

Lupita is a beautiful woman and when she delivers a look that hits, it's a memorable one. She sparkled beautifully in this custom BOSS gold and black sequin embellished halter dress with a slit detail. The speckles of glitter makeup on her hair, face and chest, enhanced the beautiful sequin on her dress. 

The red lip added just a touch of color to compliment her look. If I had to nitpick at one thing here, it would be the asymmetrical detail on the neckline. It's not positioned in the best way. I feel like it would have looked better in the center. However, that doesn't take away from how stunning she looked.

Today(February 15th) in Berlin, Germany, Lupita Nyong'o attended the 74th Berlin International Film Festival jury photocall and the opening ceremony along with the ‘Small Things Like These’ premiere. Lupita has been tapped to be on the jury for the festival this year. 

Look 1:

For the jury photocall, she wore a BOSS suit. I dislike the fit of those pants on her and the shoes doesn't work for me. The head styling is perfection. 

Look 2:

For the premiere, she slipped into a white GUCCI cutout, embellished strap gown which was dressed up with DE BEERS jewelry. I'm not 100% sold on the design of the top, but boy does she make it look good.

Julianne Moore wore a LOUIS VUITTON dress and I like this color on her. However, I am not feeling that puffy panel on the shoulders.  

Natalie Portman looked elegantly in a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE 1949-50 gown. 

Charles Melton looked sharp in a GIORGIO ARMANI tuxedo but the pants needed to be hemmed.
