Demi Lovato in Lexi at the 'Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated' LA Premiere

Yesterday evening(October 11th) Demi Lovato was on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film 'Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated' at The Fonda Theatre in LA. 

Showing a little leg, she wore the LEXI 'Mania' grey strapless, floor sweeping suede dress which featured a silver v bra wire & boning, crinoline peplums and a center front split. 

The dress should have been shorten so that it falls nicely as presented in the look book and this dress style is not the best look on her. BUTANI earrings, PASQUALE BRUNI & NARCISA PHERES rings, CESARE PACIOTTI sandals, smokey eyes and a braided ponytail finished up her look.

Hannah Simone wore a white & black sleeveless JOSIE NATORI printed dress with a tie waist detail. The shoes are a let down but ankles up, she looks nice.

Sanaa Lathan wore a black & white polka dot ZIMMERMANN dress which she styled with VALENTINO velvet sandals. I don't like the sandals with this dress but other than that, she looks great.

Serayah showed a little skin wearing a HAMEL black long sleeve fitted dress with slashed sides. She accessorized with BUTANI jewelry and CESARE PACCIOTTI black cage studded heels.

Laverne Cox in Naeem Khan at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards

Laverne Cox was on hand as a presenter this evening(September 18th) for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

She hit the red carpet in a NAEEM KHAN FALL 2016 sheer gold beaded floor length dress with v-neckline. Laverne's dress was altered from the runway version which featured long sleeves & crew neckline.     

I think the v-neckline version suited Laverne and I thought she looked beautiful. However this feels a tad familiar and her look is just a bit too gold for me. A pop of color was needed either from jewelry or make-up to give her look balance. HEARTS ON FIRE, MATTIA CIELO & BUTANI jewelry, a ATELIER SWAROVSKI clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. Are you feeling Laverne's golden look?
