Angelina Jolie & Ave DuVernay at the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival

On Wednesday(February 5th) Angelina Jolie and Ava DuVernay hit the carpet for the 40th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival at The Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California. The were on hand for the Matlin Modern Master Award which honored Angelina.

Angelina Jolie wore a BRUNELLO CUCINELLI ivory floor length dress with side pockets which she utilized. She toughen up her look a coordinating blazer which at one point she removed. The dress looks so much better with the blazer, but overall I don't find this to be an exciting look. A colored lip and/or some jewelry could have helped. Also, the hem doesn't look great. 

Ava DuVernay on the other hand looked beautiful wearing this custom coat dress by CONG TRI. If I had to nitpick, I wish the sleeves came down to her wrist. Nonetheless, this still was a winning look.

Sandra Oh and Robert Downey Jr. hit the red carpet on Tuesday(April 10th) for the premiere of HBO's ''The Sympathizer'' which was held at the Paramount Theater in LA.

Sandra Oh wore a CONG TRI white sheer panel, pleated gown with BELADORA jewelry and LARROUDE heels. Her beauty look is okay, but the gown is over-designed. The partially sheer panel waist hurts it and the white hue is too strong.

On Thursday(January 4th) Michelle Yeoh, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alice Hewkin and Madison Hu hit the red carpet for the premiere of ''The Brothers Sun'' which was held at the Tudum Theatre in LA.

Michelle Yeoh posed in a printed, leather trench coat from the BALENCIAGA FALL 2023 collection. It's like I get where she is going with this but it just missed the mark. Also, those exaggerated shoulders don't really suit her.

Jessica Chastain in Cong Tri at the 20th Marrakech International Film Festival ''Memory'' Premiere

Following the opening ceremony, Jessica Chastain made another appearance at the 20th Marrakech International Film Festival for the ''Memory'' premiere which was held on Monday(November 27th) in Marrakech, Morocco.

For this occasion, she wore a CONG TRI SPRING 2024 black sleeveless, floor length dress. I prefer how the dress is styled in the look book. That feathery piece on the neckline maybe weird but it helps to improve the look of the dress. 

Also, I feel like this dress called for an off-the-shoulder hairstyle to compliment the collard neckline. Overall, it's not a bad look but it could have been better with some few adjustments. What do you think of Jessica's look?

The premiere of ''You People'' was held yesterday evening(January 17th) at the Regency Village Theatre in LA.

Julia Louis-Dreyfrus wore a CONG TRI SPRING 2023 and I love this brand but this dress is just bad. The top is over-designed and unflattering. 

Nia Long wore a white strapless, floor length dress that hits the bridal border. Nia is a gorgeous woman but I am not sold on this. I feel like she needed a necklace and about an inch off the hem.

Gabrielle Union stay serving looks and I am always here for it. She posted a new look on her instagram page this evening(January 13th) and of course she looked good. 

Rocking an all black look, she posed for the gram in a CONG TRI FALL 2021pleated silk suit, accessorized with an HERMES bag. The string details add a subtle, sporty feel to the blazer and overall, she looked good. 

Also can we talk about her natural curls which was created with products from her FLAWLESS by GU line and her light makeup look which helped to tie her chic masculine inspired look together.  

My only quibble is that I wish the pants were hemmed but that doesn't take away from how good she looks. What do you think of GU's all black look?

Yesterday(November 1st) in LA, Tessa Thompson was spotted arriving for an appearance on at Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss her new Netflix film ''Passing.''

For her arrival, she wore a three-piece nude set from the CONG TRI PRE-FALL 2021 collection which was accessorized with the ivory LARROUDE ''Louise'' boots. Although it's not visible in the image, she is wearing pleated culottes and this whole ensemble is more stylish on her than the model. 

However in some images the pants looks unflattering in motion on her but other than that, I like this. For a color balance, a red lip was added to her beauty look. Also I think a necklace would have been a good addition. What do you think of Tessa's nude ensemble?

Kristen Bell was on hand for the 25th Annual Critics Choice Awards this evening(January 12th) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.

The actress could not be missed wearing a CONG TRI SPRING 2020 lime green silk jumpsuit, featuring a draped top with sheer illusion side panel and a draped panel that flowed into a train in the back. 

She may have that dry cleaning crease down the front of the pants but I am thankful and surprise that this isn't wrinkled with those annoying creases. 

For me, I don't like the color on Kristen and the sheer nude side panel top doesn't really work. However in general, I like the idea of this jumpsuit. Do you think Kristen pulled this color off?
