DeWanda Wise in Zimmermann at the ''Three Women'' New York Premiere

DeWanda Wise made her way to the red carpet on Monday(September 9th) for the premiere of 'Three Women' which was held at The Times Center in New York City.

DeWanda is so beautiful and even though we don't see her that often on the carpet, she tends to deliver some great looks thanks to her stylist Jason Bolden. She looked gorgeous in this ZIMMERMANN FALL 2024 floor gazing dress. 

It's hard to pull off silk without creases or wrinkles, but her stylist did a great job of making sure that didn't ruin her look. On the beauty, her hair was braided and swept to the side and a smokey eye, highlighted her hazel eyes. Overall, she looked amazing in my book.

Following the Germany photocall & premiere, the 'Jurassic World Dominion' cast and more attended the LA premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater yesterday evening(June 6th).

Following the London photocall, the cast of 'Jurassic World Dominion' headed to Germany for the film's premiere at the Medienpark.

Dewanda Wise rocked a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI SPRING 2022 COUTURE white long sleeve, ruffle turtleneck & slit detail gown paired with silver sequin wide leg trousers. This has a disco reference, it's edgy with a playful, feminine touch via the ruffles. The ruffles are a bit much though. Chanel 2019 Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner

Yesterday evening(April 29th) during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, Chanel hosted it's annual artists dinner at Balthazar Restaurant in New York. All of the guest were wearing CHANEL unless otherwise stated.

Dewanda Wise was one of my favorites as well wearing a printed crop jacket and white tweed pants. This is such a chic look and the red lip adds a touch of drama.

Angela Bassett is one of my favorites in general but I am not sure what's happening here with her look but the beauty look is flawless. She is wearing a GRETA CONSTANTINE pussy bow, mesh bodysuit and CASADEI boots.

Katie Holmes kept it simple in a black leather suit by ZEYNEP ARCAY but she is carrying a CHANEL bag. If I had to change anything here, it would be the black suede bow pumps. They weaken the overall look. A sleek, statement pump would have been ideal.

To discuss her role in the play 'Fire Flies', Dewanda Wise was spotted arriving for an appearance on the Build Series in New York on yesterday(November 1st).

Showing a little midriff, she wore a GRETA CONSTANTINE green long sleeve, crop top with a collard neck and the matching high waist, calf length skirt. This is a simple but cute look but a better shoe choice could have enhanced it. 

The black patent ankle strap pumps were a safe, predictable choice. The Malone Souliers 'Maureen' polka dot mules or textured stiletto sandals would have taken this to the next level. Kohl rimmed eyes and her natural curls finished up her look.

2018 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards Wrap-up

Along with Tracee Ellis Ross, BET's 2018 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards took place at  The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Angela Bassett rocked a the MANGISHI DOLL CO. 'Marsha Pencil II Chitenge printed calf length dress which featured crisscross leather straps and a handmade black fringe hem. She accessorized with DARRELL ROACH, VENDORAFA, DAVID YURMAN, GISMONDI 1754 & KYLECHAN DESIGN jewelry, a orange clutch and CASADEI sandals. Love that she is continuing to wear African designs which is probably a homage to her #1 film Black Panther. Side parted big curly topped off her winning look.

Meta Golding could not be missed wearing a yellow sleeveless MARTIN GRANT SPRING 2017 high-low ruffle hem dress with contrasting black tulle underlining. SIMONE G jewelry, a black clutch & sandals and straight tresses finished up her look. 

Issa Rae looked beautiful as well wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA SPRING 2018 strapless column dress which featured a gold beaded neckline and navy dress. The dress looks like it could have been shorten an inch or two, the proportions looks a bit off and the creases are unfortunate. Accessorized with gold jewelry, she finished up with a flawless beauty look.

DeWanda Wise in Marco de Vincenzo at the 'Underground' Season 2 LA Premiere

Yesterday evening(February 28th) DeWanda Wise attended WGN America's 'Underground' TV Series Season 2 premiere at the Mann Village Theatre in LA. 

For the occasion, she wore a MARCO DE VINCENZO SPRING 2017 sheer long sleeve mint & black lace embroidered mini dress with a flirty plunging neckline. On the runway, DeWanda's dress was shown with a crisscross red lace bralet underneath which she opted not to wear, thankfully.

I just don't think it would have worked on her. Also I like the pairing of her colorful beaded LOUBOUTIN pumps with this dress. XIV KARATS jewelry, a natural, high curly ponytail and minimal make-up finished up her look. Which version of the dress do you prefer, DeWanda's or the runways?
