Gemma Chan in Khaite & Miu Miu at the 76th Berlinale International Film Festival: 'Josephine' Photocall & Premiere

On Friday(February 20th) Gemma Chan hit the carpet for the photocall and premiere 'Josephine' which was held during the 76th Berlinale International Film Festival Berlin in Berlin, Germany.

Look 1:

For the photocall which was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel, she wore a KHAITE ensemble which featured the frayed top and a black leather ankle length skirt. The problem that I have here is the styling. Because of the length, that top is not working with this skirt. Also, the crisscross pumps are too focus pulling and it also doesn't work with the skirt. 

Look 2:

For the premiere which was held at Berlinale Palace, she change into a MIU MIU pink tier halter gown. It could be the fabric, but I'm not sold on her look. These are rare misses for me because Gemma is usually on her style A-game.

82nd Venice International Film Festival ‘Frankenstein’ Premiere

Following the photocall, the ''Frankenstein'' premiere took place during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday(August 30th) in Venice, Italy.

Jacob Elordi went the classic route, wearing a BOTTEGA VENETA black double-breasted suit. This would have been great if the fit was better and if a brooch was added. 

Mia Goth wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE black draped, dress with a draped bow train panel in the back. I actually prefer the look of the dress from the back versus the front which you can see via her stylist page HERE. The TIFFANY & CO necklace is stunning, I just don't know if it pairs well with this dress. Also, I feel like she needed an up-do. Overall, it's not a bad look, it's just not the most exciting.

Following the Oscars party, Zoey Deutch and more attended the Le Grand Diner du Louvre on Tuesday(March 4th) which was held at the Musee du Louvre in Paris, France.

Doechii made a big, dramatic entrance wearing a VALENTINO SPRING 2025 COUTURE yellow embellished gown. I kinda wish this was belted at the waist, but this still was a winning look.

On Thursday(January 30th) the BOSS One x David Beckham fashion launch event was held at Lightroom, in King's Cross in London. All of the guests were wearing BOSS.

Jodie Turner-Smith wore a SPRING 2025 ensemble and I actually prefer the runway's color way. The pants look better in black. I don't mind the top in either color or the design of the top, but the runway's presentation is better.

2023 Elle Style Awards

Honorees Gemma Chan, Ncuti Gatwa, Florence Pugh and more attended the 2023 Elle Style Awards this evening(September 5th) in London at the Old Sessions House.

Gemma Chan wore a LOUIS VUITTON silk and lace panel slip dress but it feels more like something we would see from Gucci. It's not a bad look but it's not a great one either.

Ncuti Gatwa suited up in OZWALD BOATENG and he looked sharp to me.

This evening(May 18th) in Cannes, France, the premiere of ''Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny'' took place during the 76th Cannes film festival at Palais des Festivals. 

Aishwarya Rai wore a custom SOPHIE COUTURE hooded gown and I love the sketch but the execution on Aishwarya didn't workout for me. I feel like the hairstyle doesn't compliment the hood detail and I feel like she was more focused on holding the hood up versus working the piece on the carpet.

Following the opening ceremony, the ''Monster'' premiere took place this evening(May 17th) during the 76th annual Cannes film festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. 

Viola Davis arrived and stole the show wearing a custom VALENTINO FALL 2022 COUTURE inspired one-shoulder dress with a playful, feather cape. She looked beautiful.

Following her attendance at the San Sebastián Festival, Olivia Wilde joined her cast for the premiere of ''Don't Worry Darling'' in New York yesterday evening(September 19th). 

Olivia Wilde wore a simple black SAINT LAURENT dress that swept the floor, with a flirty, cutout back. The bracelets is what elevates this all black look. 

Gemma Chan wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON light blue feather dress with a cutout back and contrasting black sash. I like the idea of the dress but the color is boring. However I think if the sash was in a different color, it would have made this dress more interesting.

Olivia Wilde stood out on the carpet wearing a custom yellow embellished GUCCI cape gown. Love the color and she looked gorgeous.
