On Wednesday(June 21st) the 2023 V&A Summer Party and DIVA exhibition preview which was supported by Net-A-Porter, took place in London, England.

Gwendoline Christie struck a pose in a GILES DEACON exaggerated silk-crepe, smocked dress. Love this dress on her but I'm not feeling those CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps with it. 

Nicola Roberts looked pretty wearing a DE LA VALI SPRING 2023 nude & black leaf printed dress. However, on this occasion, she definitely should have gone with a black clutch.

‘TAR’ London Premiere

Following a screening in the US, Cate Blanchett jetted off to London for the premiere of ''TÁR'' which was held at Picturehouse Central yesterday evening(January 11th).

Cate Blanchett made a shiny entrance wearing a custom pink velvet-lurex ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER FALL 2022 COUTURE floor sweeping dress. On the runway, the dress was shown in a black sequin version but I prefer Cate's colored version. I do think it could have been shorten at the hem but it was great look.

Gwendoline Christie, Laura Dern & Naomi Watts at the Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit

Following her movie premiere attendance, Laura Dern was joined by Gwendoline Christie and Naomi Watts at The Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit which was presented by Chanel, in her honor last night(November 12th) at the MoMA in New York.

Gwendoline Christie continues to prove why she is a style force on the red carpet. Her custom GILES DEACON COUTURE floor length gown featured an embellished high-neck and blouson sleeves which she pulled off effortless. If I had to call out anything, I just wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulder and that square outline is a tad bothersome. Also the color may not be the best hue but that doesn't hurt her look or negate the fact that she is stunning here.

Kate Beckinsale in Giles at the Los Angeles Confidential Women of Influence Event

Style wise, Kate Beckinsale hasn't had a bad year but things do change. Yesterday she attended the  Los Angeles Confidential Women of Influence Event at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, CA.

She posed on the red carpet in a GILES FALL 2015 strapless black & white printed peplum dress with a contrasting peach satin bow & panels and scalloped edges. I like the idea of an extra pop of color but I can't say that I like those LOUIS VUITTON magenta pumps with this dress. 

Also I am not too crazy about the dress but she doesn't look bad, it's something that I can only see her wearing. VITA FEDE jewelry, a curly ponytail and a smokey eye offset with a pink lip finished up her look. What do you think of the styling of Kate's look?

Cynthia Erivo in Giles at Disney's 'Aladdin' Musical Press Night

Following her big win and appearance at the Tony awards, Cynthia Erivo jetted back to London for Disney's 'Aladdin' musical press night at the Prince Edward Theatre in London. 

She hit the purple carpet in a GILES SPRING 2015 sleeveless colorful metallic patchwork gown with an floral fringe bodice and a laser cut-out skirt. Cynthia seems to go for the riskier pieces on the carpet which can sometimes be a good. 

With that said, this is a much better look than her Tony's look and I think this bold metallic number looks great on her. JENNIFER FISHER jewelry, a bold clutch and a gold cuff completed her look. Are you on board with Cynthia's metallic look?

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' London Premiere

Following the LA premiere, the cast jetted off to London for the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiere at Leicester Square yesterday evening in London.

Daisy Ridley continues her style winning streak wearing the ROLAND MOURET 'Vernet' bespoke one-shoulder gown with a black flock organza embellished cut-out bodice with a textured long skirt. I like the elegant edge of her look which was topped off with a light smokey eye, a chic up-do and silver jewelry. 

Lupita Nyong'o really went the futuristic route rocking a PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2016 long sleeve black mini dress which featured a cut-out peplum top, a beaded fringe mesh skirt and a side split. I do like the idea of this dress but it should have been edited before it hit the carpet. For her beauty look, she went with a bold shiny blue pout and her signature natural short cut which was adorned with a hair net. Adding to the futurism of her look, she accessorized with gold statement drop earrings. GUISEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look.

One of the hottest trend for fall is 'punk fashion' which was also the theme of the 2013 MET Gala.  Debbie Harry, Sid Vicious and The Ramones to name a few, were instrumental in making skinny jeans, ripped shirts, cut-out dresses and studded leather popular.
