Creative Director Alssandro Michele created custom GUCCI looks for celebs yesterday evening(May 6th) for the 2019 MET Gala Camp: Notes on Fashion at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Saoirse Ronan was my favorite, as she was flaming literally in this custom all-over sequin gown with a Le Marchédes Merveilles lion head and feline earrings in yellow gold, fire opal and diamonds, and rings with amethyst, diamonds and fire opal. However if I had to change anything, it would be the hair. A sleek, off-the-shoulder up-do would have been complimentary.
Salma Hayek wore a custom gown that featured gold leaves on the neckline and trompe l’oeil plissé embroidery on the skirt, and aged gold metal crown. Beauty look was nicely done but the gown is giving deja vu but she was beautiful.
