Yesterday evening(August 9th) in LA, Jennifer Hudson, Hailey Kilgore & Thuso Mbedu hit the carpet for the premiere of ''Respect'' at the  Regency Village Theatre.

Jennifer Hudson led the way, as she stood out wearing a purple DOLCE & GABBANA purple strapless, sequin dress with a flowing train and a silk-chiffon draped panel. A few things that the color ''purple'' symbolizes is power, creativity and royalty, words that speak to who Aretha Franklin was. So this was naturally a great color choice. Although I wished she left the veil out & I would swap out the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps for a simple gold ankle strap sandal. Nonetheless, she looked gorgeous. BULGARI jewelry finished up her look.

Kerry Washington was perhaps my favorite as she looked divine in this ATELIER VERSACE long sleeve embellished jumpsuit with a cutout back and a skirted waist. She served up a sultry, edgy look effortlessly. Side parted straight tresses, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ & OFIRA jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals finished up her look.

Tiffany Haddish wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION silver floral lace embroidered jumpsuit which was accessorized with CHOPARD jewelry and a black clutch. A center part ponytail and a black clutch finished up her great. 

Uzo Aduba stood out in a custom marigold CRISTINA OTTAVIANO draped halter gown with a crisscross, pleated neckline and a side front short split. A flawless beauty look, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her great look.
