35th LA GLAAD Media Awards

On Thursday(March 14th) the 35th annual LA GLAAD Media Awards LA was held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Niecy Nash and Oprah Winfrey were honored at this event.

Sharon Stone wore a custom RAMI AL ALI FALL 2022 COUTURE feather embroidered cape paired with black satin trousers. I prefer the cape in the runway's pink, but the white suit Sharon better. Overall, I thought she looked great.

Yesterday evening(March 16th) in New York, Amy Schumer and Kathryn Gallagher hit the black carpet for the premiere ''Life And Beth'' at the SVA Theater.

Amy Schumer wore the HALSTON ''Vera'' stretched jersey gown. It's not a bad look but it's boring. Some jewelry like a bracelet or ring could have kicked it up a notch. But this is Amy, she tends to go the minimal route when it comes to her style. It was a laid back premiere so, it worked either way.

'Bombshell' LA Premiere

Last night(December 10th) the 'Bombshell' cast hit the black carpet for the premiere, which took place at the Regency Village Theater in LA.

Nicole Kidman suited up in SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2020 and a contrasting black satin lapel was added to her black shimmery blazer. Nicole's version of the jacket suits her better because the boxy shape of the runway version wouldn't have worked on her. Love her look but the hair is a let down. STELLA LUNA sandals rounded out her look.

Alyssa Milano in Prabal Gurung & Elisabetta Franchi Promoting 'Insatiable'

Following her previous outing, Alyssa Milano stepped out again yesterday(August 7th) in two different looks in New York to promote her new series 'Insatiable'. 

First she stopped by SiriusXM studio where she posed her look on to instagram. She wore a PRABAL GURUNG PRE-FALL 2018 navy side ruched, floral embroidered dress with thin straps. She offset her embroidered midi dress with thin straps. Offset with neutral HALSTON sandals, she finished up with BARE COLLECTION jewelry and a colored lip. 

Next she stopped by the Build Series wearing a casual but chic look courtesy of ELISABETTA FRANCHI. Her FALL 2018 look featured a peach blouse and tapered leg denim which was adorned with sequin embroidered bows. She finished up with dark sunglasses, LANA jewelry, a FLYNN bag and SAM EDELMAN sandals.

2018 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards Wrap-up

Along with Tracee Ellis Ross, BET's 2018 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards took place at  The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Angela Bassett rocked a the MANGISHI DOLL CO. 'Marsha Pencil II Chitenge printed calf length dress which featured crisscross leather straps and a handmade black fringe hem. She accessorized with DARRELL ROACH, VENDORAFA, DAVID YURMAN, GISMONDI 1754 & KYLECHAN DESIGN jewelry, a orange clutch and CASADEI sandals. Love that she is continuing to wear African designs which is probably a homage to her #1 film Black Panther. Side parted big curly topped off her winning look.

Meta Golding could not be missed wearing a yellow sleeveless MARTIN GRANT SPRING 2017 high-low ruffle hem dress with contrasting black tulle underlining. SIMONE G jewelry, a black clutch & sandals and straight tresses finished up her look. 

Issa Rae looked beautiful as well wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA SPRING 2018 strapless column dress which featured a gold beaded neckline and navy dress. The dress looks like it could have been shorten an inch or two, the proportions looks a bit off and the creases are unfortunate. Accessorized with gold jewelry, she finished up with a flawless beauty look.

Amber Stevens West and Anna Camp were on the red carpet on Saturday(February 24th) for the 2018 Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards at The Novo by Microsoft in LA.

Amber Stevens West sparkled in the THAI NGUYEN SPRING 2018 'Diva' black silk beaded jacket and the matching 'Saint' wide-leg trousers. My only quibble is that I wish the pants were hemmed but other than that, she looked beautiful. She finished up with KUKKA jewelry and complimentary beauty look. 

Anna Camp wore a SELF-PORTRAIT SPRING 2018 strapless navy, white & black pleated bandeau crepe maxi dress with a flirty cutout bodice and a thigh-high split. She vamped up her look with a dark red lip which topped off her look along with side parted curls and the HALSTON HERITAGE 'Saturn' box clutch.

Yesterday evening(September 6th) Abbey Lee, Jennifer Morrison & Zoey Deutch the 'Rebel in the Rye' premiere took place at the Metrograph in New York.

Abbey Lee worked a metallic look courtesy of HALSTON HERITAGE which feature a FALL 2017 metallic fog long sleeve blouse and a FALL 2016 gunmetal leather mini skirt. Beauty wise, she kept it simple with minimal make-up & side parted waves which topped off her look along with white boots and ALEXIS BITTAR earrings. 

Jennifer Morrison looked great in a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO RESORT 2018 red side split dress which featured a contrasting white & black panel. A white clutch, SCHUTZ sandals, center part light waves and a red lip finished up her look. 

Zoey Deutch wore a MIU MIU RESORT 2018 printed embellished romper with bracelet length sleeves. Miu Miu pewter embellished heel slingbacks and a low ponytail finished up her look.

On Friday(May 13th) Priyanka Chopra, Alexander Daddario & Kelly Rohrbach attended the 'Baywatch' movie premiere at Lummus Park in Miami, FL.

Kelly Rohrbach wore a FENDI SPRING 2017 metallic fil coupe, floral embroidered cocktail dress which we already saw on Elsa Pataky last month. A top knot, smokey eyes, GRAZIELA GEMS & EF COLLECTION jewelry and the ALEXANDER WHITE 'Hara' gold sandals finished up her look.

Cara Santana in Halston Heritage at the 32nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival 'Outstanding Performers' Awards

Along with Emma Stone, Cara Santana attended the 32nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival - Outstanding Performers of the Year Award honoring Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling which was presented by Belvedere Vodka, at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA.

For the occasion, she wore a HALSTON HERITAGE grey satin slip dress which featured a modern racer cut top and a sash with a multi-needle stitching detail. Love the look of the dress in the look book but unfortunately on Cara, those annoying creases on the skirt took center stage. 

Also instead of going with a colored lip, she wore sky blue satin pumps with a bow detail in the back. I think she should have went with a complimentary dark red lip color and opted for silver ankle strap sandals. An EMM KUO clutch, a center part ponytail and smokey eyes finished up her look. I love the chic appeal of the look book styling but Camilla's look was on tune for the holiday party as well. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a HALSTON clutch finished up her look.
