2024 New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala

The New York City Ballet 2024 Fall Fashion Gala was held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on Wednesday(October 9th). Sarah Jessica Parker is vice chair of the ballet. 

Sarah Jessica Parker led the way wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA SPRING 2025 silver embroidered, ruffle tulle gown. I felt like she didn't need that extra layering piece on the bodice, but this was a very ''Carrie Bradshaw'' move. I don't think this would work on anyone else.

'Thor: Love and Thunder' LA Premiere

Following Jimmy Kimmel Live & his previous premiere look, Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt and more hit the red carper for the premiere of Marvel Studios 'Thor: Love and Thunder' at the El Capitan Theatre yesterday evening( June 23rd) in LA.

Tessa Thompson is always going to serve us with an interesting look. She wore a custom GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE COUTURE strapless dress. I really like the color and the fabric but the draped, cutout waist looks off. Statement earrings would have really finish this off in the right direction but overall, I still thought she looked beautiful. EFFY, EF COLLECTION & SARA WEINSTOCK jewelry and a braided ponytail finished her look. 

Natalie Portman is continuing on her no Dior route, this time wearing a gold beaded mini dress by CELINE. It's a cute look and it is definitely working on her but the hair and makeup doesn't work at all. ANITA KO and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look.

Following her appearance on Colbert, Lady Gaga and more attended the premiere of the ''House of Gucci'' yesterday evening(November 16th) at Licoln Center in New York.

Lady Gaga went the sexy, edgy and glamorous route wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE COUTURE gown with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. She knows how to effortlessly sell a look. 

Salma Hayek on the other hand is still struggling with her style. The top looks extremely tight on the bust and the platform pumps with those nude stocks are annoying. Her head styling is on point though.

Yesterday evening(November 15th) in New York, the premiere of ''Ghostbusters: Afterlife'' took place at the AMC Lincoln Square theater.

Jaimie Alexander wore a sexy emerald velvet, cutout dress which was a custom piece by MARC BOUWER. I feel like she needed a necklace and I would definitely swap out those pumps for strappy or ankle strap sandals. 

Carrie Coon wore a THE VAMPIRE'S WIFE ruffle floral dress and of course it's been done before but she looks good. I just wish the hair was in a sleek style.

Jaimie Alexander in Rhode at the 'Impractical Jokers: The Movie' NY

It's been a long time since Jaimie Alexander has been on the red carpet but the actress returned last night(February 18th) for the premiere of 'Impractical Jokers: The Movie' at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.

The actress could not be missed wearing the RHODE 'Mia' retro rainbow, fluid Georgette dress in a flowy silhouette, with a cut-out back, a gathered waist and side pockets. I love this 70's inspired, abstract printed dress. 

Instead of wearing ankle strap sandals, the actress offset her vibrant dress with gold metallic pumps. Jaimie also debut a short, layered pixie cut which I kinda like on her. What do you think of Jaimie's look?

Jaimie Alexander in Rag & Bone at the 2018 NBC Fall Press Junket

Yesterday(September 6th) at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, Jaimie Alexander hit the red carpet for the 2018 NBC Fall Press Junket for her hit tv shoe 'The Blind Spot'. 

For the occasion, she wore the RAG & BONE FALL 2018 'Karen' dress, featuring one-half of the drapey silk shirtdress in a cheetah-spotted pattern. I am glad that Jaimie added a belt because as you can see in the look book, it looks better with one. 

However I can't say that I like the style of the belt that she is wearing, something simpler would have done the trick. Also it was super hot in NY yesterday so I am confused as to why she is wearing those black leather boots. Ankle strap pumps would have been a more ideal option.

On Sunday(October 22nd) Jaimie Alexander hit the black carpet at the 10th Annual Action Icon Awards at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, CA.

For the occasion, she wore a DAVID KOMA FALL 2017 sleeveless black & blue embellished cutout dress with a mock neckline, a split detail and a flouncy hem. 

The cutouts & split added a sultry appeal to her beaded dress which she accessorized with MIMI SO earrings and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. Smokey eyes and side parted layered waves finished up her look.
