'Practical Magic 2' LA Premiere

Following the London photocall, the cast were back on the carpet for the LA premiere of ''Practical Magic 2'' which was held at the Directors Village theatre on Monday(August 31st).

Nicole Kidman served up a little leg in a custom ATELIER VERSACE by PIETER MULIER. She served us with a sexy, edgy look but I dislike the choker and the matching pumps. Also, I wish the lining covered the entire dress and the short lace panel seems so unnecessary. The skirt should have been straight, not asymmetrical. 

Sandra Bullock wore a custom by velvet dress with a contrasting white collar and cuffs by LOUIS VUITTON. Generally speaking, she looked beautifully, but that long pointy collar is bugging me along with that sheer panel which looks unflattering against her skin. Also, it's still pretty warm in August, so the velvet fabric is confusing.

Following the premiere, the cast of 'Practical Magic 2' returned to the carpet today(August 27th) in London for the film's photocall which was held at the Claridge's Hotel.

Nicole Kidman wore CHANEL again and she looked pretty. The pearl straps added a nice statement detail to her dress, but her hair is what's bugging me. I don't know what's happening, but I hope that she gets that together. 

Maisie Williams went the vintage route, wearing another archive look from Sandra Bullock's closet. The dress looks so overwhelming on her. I don't like the mismatch sleeves and I am not sure why she would wear a statement ring that would compete with the brooch.

The ''Practical Magic 2'' cast the blue carpet this evening(August 26th) in London for the film's premiere which was held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.

Joey King wore a custom look by MIU MIU. Her sheer pale yellow silk-chiffon dress featured flower accents and it was deliberately layered with a bra and briefs underneath for coverage. Generally speaking, this suits her perfectly, but I am experiencing sheer fatigue. I wish that this was lined. 

Nicole Kidman wore a CHANEL dress and this sequin strapless dress which takes evening wear to an entirely new level of opulence. The high-wattage of shine and heavy metal edge proves that classic elegance can still feel incredibly rock-and-roll. The bare neckline highlights the design which allowed the dramatic chain draping to act as the ultimate statement accessory.

On Tuesday(April 8th) Gabrielle Ryan, Joey King and Meghann Fahy hit the black carpet for the premiere of ''Drop'' which was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. 

Gabrielle Ryan looked pretty wearing a GUARAV GUPTA red beaded, strapless gown. I like the matching red lip, but I feel like a necklace or drop earrings are missing.

Naomi Watts, Monica Barbaro, Caitrionia Balfe, Rachel Brosnahan, and Joey King wore looks by PRADA and MIU MIU at the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards on Friday(February 7th) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Naomi Watts wore a black custom dress by PRADA as well. I am not necessarily sold on the back, but I feel like a necklace was needed. 

Monica Barbaro wore a custom look by PRADA. With her midriff showing, she wore a black & white embroidered crop top with a draped panel and a floor length skirt. I like this, but I feel like more jewelry was needed.

On Wednesday(July 10th) Joey King was spotted at the Watch What Happens Live! studios in New York to continue promoting her new Netflix movie 'A Family Affair.''

With the help of her stylist Jared Eng, Joey's style has evolved. She's taking more risks and having fun. On the occasion, she opted for a sexy look from the PATRIZIA PEPE FALL 2024 collection. 

The fuchsia sheer mesh, long sleeve top was layered with a bra for coverage and paired with a tie-waist pencil skirt. Truthfully, I'm not 100% sold on the design of the top, but the model and Joey makes it look so good. 

Overall, she looked great for her appearance. SIMONE earrings, MARA PARIS rings, SANTONI sandals and side parted tresses put the finishing touches on her look.

The cast of the Netflix series 'A Family Affair' hit the carpet for the premiere which was held at The Egyptian Theatre on Thursday(June 13th) in LA.

Nicole Kidman wore a pink strapless GUCCI FALL 2024 center front split dress which hit the runway in brown. I am glad that she didn't wearing the runway's color but I am disappointed that she chose pink. She needed this dress in a richer hue and also I would ditch that necklace.

Joey King's style just keeps getting better and I like that for her. I'm not crazy about the strap on the shoulders, but you can't deny how beautiful she is in this custom CONG TRI dress.

On Saturday(April 27th) the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Tribute to Nicole Kidman was held at The Dolby Theater in LA with Nicole Kidman and more in attendance.

Nicole Kidman made a sparkling entrance, wearing a BALENCIAGA gold sequin gown which was accessorized with an OMEGA watch and ROBERTO COIN rings. The night was all about her, and she definitely chose a gown that speaks to that. She looked gorgeous. 

Naomi Watts wore a GIVENCHY dress with ANITA KO jewelry, a white chain strap bag and white ankle strap sandals. I'm not crazy about the asymmetrical hemline but this is still a great look.

Rocking a schoolgirl chic ensemble, she stepped out in head to toe THOM BROWNE. Her grey checkered blazer and pleated mini skirt which styled with a white button down shirt underneath and a stripe tie. 

I think pumps are what really elevated her look. The red panel provided a cool pop of color to her ensemble which was needed. Overall, this was a great look for her early morning interview.

Joey King hit the carpet with husband Steven Piet wore PRADA for the Hulu premiere of ''We Were The Lucky Ones'' which was held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Thursday(March 21st) in LA. 

Joey King wore two-tone 3D textured fabric dress. I love the mint and the cream color combo because it really looks great on her. If I had to nitpick, I think a skinny belt would have been the perfect addition for a more defined waist. Also, the platform sandals are a little on the heavy side. A simpler heel would have been ideal. Nitpicks aside, I still thought she looked good. 

Steven Piet wore a blue two-piece suit and creases aside, his looked great for the occasion.

Following the London photocall, the 'Bullet Train' cast attended the premiere this evening(July 20th) at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Joey King chose a cutout back dress from the MARC JACOBS FALL 2021 collection. If this dress looks familiar, that's because we saw it on Jaime Xie in a different color way at Cannes.
