2024 White House Correspondents Dinner

On Saturday(April 27th) Colin Jost hosted the 2024 White House Correspondents Association Dinner which was held at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington D.C.

Scarlett Johansson looked pretty wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE scarf detail dress. It's very similar to what Keri Russell wore(see below). It's not the most exciting look, but it did what needed to be done. 

Colin Jost also wore GIORGIO ARMANI. A brooch or printed pocket square could have saved his black tuxedo from being boring.

On Good Morning America, she wore a KWAIDAN EDITIONS FALL 2021 floral color-block dress. This dress is so cute but why that patch on the hem of the skirt. It definitely was not needed but other than that, this is a great look.

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' London Premiere

Following the LA premiere, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker cast jetted to London for the premiere this evening(December 18th) at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Daisy Ridley leg the way looking beautiful in a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD COUTURE rich blue, velvet strapless pencil dress with a layered skirted waist. The color is the star and the skirt details adds drama to her look. I do feel like a statement necklace or earrings, and/or cuff was needed but again, that color. A red lip, statement rings and blue velvet pumps rounded out her look.  

John Boyega went the same color route as Daisy, wearing a custom traditional cobalt blue and yellow printed jacket, top and pants by his GRACE BOYEGA. A matching hue hat and embellished loafers finished up his winning look.

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' LA Premiere

Last night(December 16th) the descended on the blue carpet at the 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' premiere, which took place in Hollywood, California.

Daisy Ridley led the way wearing a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA red faille one-shoulder gown with a side split and a flowing training the back. If I had to change anything here, I would swap out the pumps for a ankle strap sandals. However she still looked amazing and I really like this hue.

Kelly Marie Tran showed off her decolletage in a custom JASON WU sequin embroidered gown which she accessorized with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. She looks lovely in this gown but there is a little too much fabric at the hem for height.

Keri Russell in Saint Laurent at the Mark Cross NY Boutique Opening

Last night(December 12th) Keri Russell struck a pose at the Mark Cross’ boutique opening on Madison Avenue in New York City. This is the accessories brand first standalone boutique in decades.

Keri is a fashion devotee to SAINT LAURENT and I am so surprised that she hasn't scored a brand ambassador deal yet. She wore a FALL 2019 sheer black ruffle, tie-neck blouse and black tuxedo shorts.

She also accessorized with YSL stockings and glittery ankle strap pumps. Naturally she carried a MARK CROSS bag, the 'Grace Cube' bag which topped off her look along with light side parted waves.

I was at this event last night and seeing her look up-close, I have to say, she definitely nailed it. What do you think of Keri's all black look?

Following her performance in the Broadway play 'Burn This', Keri Russell attended the opening night photo op at the Hudson Theatre last night(April 15th) in New York City.

Rocking an masculine inspired look, she wore a CELINE white semi-sheer, pleated bow button down shirt which was adorned with a bow tie and black satin panel trousers by TOM FORD. 

Although we see Keri in dresses, she tends to wear suit inspired looks on the carpet, minus a jacket. Even though she looks like a cater waiter, I like this, it's a classic look. Side swept tresses, smokey eyes and GUCCI sandals rounded out her look.

Chrissy Teigen joined husband John Legend along with Keri Russell on the carpet at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Monday(September 17th) in LA. Chrissy & Keri both wore ZUHAIR MURAD COUTURE. 

Chrissy Teigen wore a FALL 2018 COUTURE long sleeve silver beaded dress, featuring a mock neckline, a sheer illusion panel bodice and a crossover, split detail skirt. Love me some Chrissy but the fit is not great on her, especially waist up. 

John Legend who walked away a winner, wore a navy & black lapel GUCCI tuxedo which he teamed with a white button down shirt, a black bow tie and black shiny shoes. 

Keri Russell worked the split on her sexy SPRING 2018 black dress which featured a long sleeve beaded & feather peplum top and a chiffon skirt. Instead of wearing a metallic or black sandal which she should have, Keri opted for nude.

Following the FX all-star party, Keri Russell attended season six premier of FX's 'The American's' on Friday(March 16th) in New York. 

She hit the red carpet wearing what seems to be her new favorite brand, JOHANNA ORTIZ. Her SPRING 2018 one-shoulder white & black ruffle polka dot gown featured a cutout detail on the bodice and a short train. 

I really like the look & fit of this gown on Keri more than the model. For a touch of color, a red lip was added to her beauty look. Side swept tresses and black accessories finished up her great look.

Last night(March 15th) Sarah Paulson and Keri Russell hit the red carpet at the 2018 FX Annual All-Star party at the SVA Theater in New York City.

Sarah Paulson worked a CHRISTIAN DIOR PRE-FALL 2018 grey blazer which was left un-button revealing her sheer black bra underneath and the matching pleated wide-leg pants. I really like this look on Sarah. It was shown in a sophisticated way in the look book and Sarah gave it a sultry appeal. 

Keri Russell wore a SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2018 ensemble which featured a black with gold trimming blazer with a white shirt underneath and green lace-up shorts. This look is so Keri and suits her style. Accessorized with a black clutch and sandals, she finished up with off-the-shoulder tresses and smokey eyes.

New York City Ballet's 2017 Fall Fashion Gala Wrap-up

Along with Sarah Jessica Parker & Rebecca Hall, Malin Akerman, Michelle Monaghan & Keri Russell attended the New York City Ballet's 2017 Fall Fashion Gala at the David H. Koch Theater, Lincoln Center yesterday evening(September 28th) in New York.

Malin Akerman wore the JOHANNA ORTIZ FALL 2017 'Saint Sarah' ruffle georgette, layered dress with a v-neckline and a mermaid silhouette. Slightly, off-the-shoulder tresses with bangs and a colored lip finished up her look. 

Michelle Monaghan was my favorite in the PRABAL GURUNG SPRING 2018 'Elizabeth' azul & seagrass plisse halter gown with a twisted, cut-out bodice, an off-the-shoulder detail and a leather waistband. She is also wearing white & clear perspex sandals from the same collection.

Keri Russell wore a dress by JOHANNA ORTIZ. Her RESORT 2018 black one-shoulder ruffle cocktail dress was styled with a sparkly bracelet, a black clutch and GIANVITO ROSSI pumps. I think a pinned up-do would have complimented her detailed dress. Also instead strappy sandals would have been ideal over the pumps. Red lips finished up her look.

The new series of 'The Americans' just kicked off and yesterday(March 8th) Keri Russell stopped by the Build Series in New York for a panel discussion about the show. 

For her outing, she wore a navy over-sized turtleneck sweater and a PRADA SPRING 0217 pink & white houndstooth print pencil skirt with a stripe side panel. Chunky sweaters with pencil skirts are on trend and I thought this was a cute ensemble. 

Also why I don't mind the matching suede pumps, I can't get on board with those sheer pink ankle socks. No Keri, that's one trend look that doesn't work for you. What do you think of the styling of Keri's look?

Joined by her partner Matthew Reys, Keri Russell attended the 2016 State Dinner Honoring Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of the Republic of Singapore at the White House in Washington DC last night(August 2nd).

For her appearance, she tuned to one of my favorite designers, STPEHANE ROLLAND. Her long black crepe and gold silicone embellished draped halter gown with a split detail is from a limited edition collection made exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman.  

I like the dress, it makes a nice statement worth for the occasion. However I am not wowed, a complimented colored lip could have given her look some life. ANA KHOURI jewelry, GIANVITO ROSSI black sandals, a black clutch and a center part sleek bun finished up her look.
