2024 Brit Awards

On Saturday(March 2nd) some celebs descended on the carpet for the 2024 BRIT Awards which took place at The O2 Arena in London.

Charli XCX wore a custom MARNI strapless, color-block gown. I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm not loving. It's a unique piece but the bottom half looks like sheets draped off of her waist. 

Dua Lipa wore a VERSACE black leather, floor length dress. I don't think the head styling compliments this sexy dress.

Yesterday evening(October 17th) in London, the 2023 Glamour Women of the Year Awards was held 1 Marylebone Road with honorees America Ferrera, Halle Bailey and more in attendance. 

Halle Bailey wore a NICOLE + FELICIA COUTURE black strapless velvet mini dress with 3-D white roses. This was cute but it's too tight on the bust.

2019 Serpentine Gallery Summer Party Wrap-up

FKA Twigs, Stacy Martin and more attended the 2019 Serpentine Gallery Summer Party took place this evening(June 25th) in London at the Serpentine Gallery, which was also presented by Chanel. Most of the guest were wearing CHANEL unless otherwise stated. 

Zawe Ashton was head to toe in MULBERRY FALL 2019, which featured an pink floral long sleeve top and pants, a printed chain strap bag and pink oxfords. The bag offers up nice balance to her pink look.

Jenna Coleman went the sheer route, wearing a navy semi see-through knit jumpsuit, which was adorned with a logo chain belt. a green & navy logo, chain strap bag, and beaded earrings rounded out her look. 

Eleanor Tomlinson was off-season in a PRE-FALL 2019 black & gold stripe mini dress, which was styled with gold boots. However I really like this chic, edgy.

Yesterday evening(October 30th) the 2017 Pride of Britain Awards took place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Laura Whitmore showed off her décolletage in a ISABEL SANCHIS SPRING 2018 black off-the-shoulder floor length dress with long, ruffle panel sleeves and contrasting gold pipping of a face. She complimented her look with an up-do with tendrils and a pink lip color. A black clutch finished up her look. 

Amanda Holden stood out in a BASIL SODA FALL 2017 COUTURE gown which featured a beaded purple top with a plunging neckline and a white & purple floral ball gown skirt. Off-the-shoulder straight tresses and statement jewelry finished up her look.

Laura Whitmore & Charli XCX attended the Warner Music Group and GQ Summer Party on yesterday(July5th) in London. 

Laura Whitmore rocked a chic look white featured a PAUL & JOE FALL 2017 printed rolled sleeve shirt with the matching rolled leg pants. She kept her look interesting with a BIMBA Y LOLA floral embroidered clutch and red suede pumps white topped off her look along with a red lip. 

Charli XCX wore an all black look which featured a HANGER INC off-the-shoulder crop top and high-waist, wide-leg trousers. The pants are a little too long but I like this look on her. A half-up half-down hairstyle, wingtip eyes and a black bag topped off her look.

Along with Nicole Scherzinger, Alesha Dixon, Laura Whitmore and Daisy Lowe hit the red carpet at the 2016 Pride of Britain Awards on Monday(October 31st) at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London. 

Alesha Dixon wore a dress from her collaboration with LITTLE BLACK DRESS. Her FALL 2016 strapless red & black rose print belted dress featured a center front split. Accessorized with black choker, she finished up her look black ankle strap sandals and a red lip. 

Laura Whitmore wore a sleeveless SANDRA MANSOUR sheer floral floor length dress which was  layered with a black mini dress underneath for coverage. I am not to crazy about the hairstyle but she looked great otherwise. 

Daisy Lowe wore a black & silver JENNY PACKHAM beaded evening dress with a v-neckline and a open-back.  I don't think her long ponytail with bangs compliments the dress but I do like the fit.

Kate Moss took the vintage route wearing a black crop blazer with a floor length floral embroidered dress underneath which was adorned with a black belt. I kinda like this but I don't get the snakeskin clutch. Layered necklaces finished up her look.

Jenna Coleman wore a EMILIA WICKSTEAD SPRING 2016 white textured stripe three-quarter sleeve calf length dress with a cut-out waist. I like this dress which actually hit the runway in a lavender color. However I don't get the heavy CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA pumps. They are cute but strappy sandals would have been a better choice. 

Winnie Harlow looked cute in a BALMAIN PRE-FALL 2016 paisley two-piece skirt suit. Adding a sultry appeal to her look, she wore a simple white embroidered bra underneath. DAUPHIN jewelry, a silver box clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look.

Alesha Dixon wore a EMILIO PUCCI black beaded embroidered blazer with a TOPSHOP star detail mesh top and a black skirt which showcased her legs. Adding some edge to her look, she went with a quiff hairstyle and a red lip. Gold sandals completed her look. 

Florence Welch wore a CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION silk slip dress with a GUCCI fringe & fur embroidered cape thrown over her shoulder. Instead of wearing heels with her look, she opted for CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA ankle strap flats. For a touch of color, she accessorized with a 

colorful floral beaded ALEXANDER MCQUEEN knuckle duster clutch. I am not sure if I can get onboard with this, mainly because the color doesn't work for her. 

Lana Del Rey wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER RESORT 2016 layered tulle floral embroidered dress with a high split and a drawstring waist which added definition to her look. I like the yellow fur panel sandals which are also Lhuillier with this dress as it adds a fun detail to her look. This is not a wow look but one of her best in a while.

Ellie Goulding wore a black STELLA MCCARTNEY lace panel bustier dress with a short train detail. I am not to crazy about the design of the top and I wish she did something more interesting with her hair & make-up.  

Karlie Kloss was honored with the Inspiring Woman of The Year award and she also wore STELLA MCCARTNEY. Her long sleeve black belted dress with a train detail, also featured a plunging neckline which was layered with a blush colored bustier underneath. I like the sleekness of her look which was topped off with a red lip, straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a gold clutch finished up her look. 

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI SPRING 2016 black one long sleeve mini dress with a detailed draped panel on the side. Center part waves, a rosy lip and black sandals completed her look.

2016 BAFTA's Wrap-up

Angela Bassett wore a GALIA LAHAV magenta gown which featured a sheer illusion back panel and a ruched train detail. Looking at the pictures of her from the back, I wish the illusion panel matched her skin. However the color looked beautiful on her and she wore this well. A JIMMY CHOO clutch & sandals, MAXIOR JOIAS jewelry and a sleek center part bob completed her look. 

Dakota Johnson wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR red silk Georgette ruffled detail gown. Love the color along with the matching red lip but I still feel underwhelmed with the overall look. 

Saoirse Ronan wore a custom BURBERRY strapless firework sequin appliqué column dress styled with silver GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and a statement necklace. I am on the fence about the necklace as I feel it doesn't coordinate well with her dress. A wavy ponytail, kohl rimmed eyes and a soft pink lip completed her look.

Laura Whitmore in Maria Grachvogel at the 21st National Television Awards

Yesterday evening Laura Whitmore attended the 21st National Television Awards at The O2 Arena in London.

For the occasion, she wore the MARIA GRACHVOGEL 'Dante' printed painted draped shoulder dress. Maria is known for her creative artwork prints which make beautiful statements.  

Beauty wise, she went with straight off-the-shoulder tresses and light but nicely done make-up. A selection of rings and gold ear cuffs completed her beautiful.
