'Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy' NY Screening

Continuing on the promo tour, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, Renee Zellweger were joined by Lucy Boynton at another premiere of Peacock's ''Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy'' which was held at Jazz, at Lincoln Center on Wednesday(February 12th) in New York City.

Chiwetel Ejiofor debuts a LANVIN PRE-FALL 2025 look from the new creative director Peter Copping. It's a dark, cool look, but I feel like he needed a piece of jewelry to elevate it. 

Leo Woodall wore a RALPH LAUREN brown pinstripe suit. The pants needed to be hemmed better, but I like this. The green ombre plaid tie added a nice compliment to his brown suit. 

Renee Zellweger wore a PRADA seafoam green, off-the-shoulder ankle length dress which she accessorized with a DAVID WEBB ring and matching pumps. The dress is cute, but a much bolder color would have been better because this one doesn't work for her.

Lucy Boynton in Chanel at the 'A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story' NY Premiere

Following the London photocall,  Lucy Boynton made her way to New York for a premiere of 'A Cruel Love : The Ruth Ellis Story' at Crosby Street Hotel on Tuesday(February 11th).

CHANEL can be tough to wear, but the fashion house does have pieces that can translate from the runway to the red carpet. This PRE-FALL 2025 sequin tweed jacket with the matching mini skirt looked great on Lucy. 

This two-tone ensemble has a chic, flirty vibe to it which she is pulling off with ease. My only callout is that I wish that she wore knee boots instead of a calf length. Nonetheless, this still was a great look that worked for the occasion.

Lucy Boynton in Celine at the 'A Cruel Love, The Ruth Ellis Story' London Photocall

Lucy Boynton returned to the carpet for the photocall of ''A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story'' which was held at The Charlotte Street Hotel on Wednesday(February 5th) in London.

Lucy is known for her unique fashion choices, but on the occasion, she scaled back a little for a schoolgirl inspired ensemble by CELINE. Her ensemble featured a houndstooth vest with a white pleated, peter pan collar shirt with a bow necktie underneath and the matching houndstooth pleated skirt. 

Some may like it, some may not, but I think this works because it's her. Part of me wishes the necktie was left out, but either way, it's not a bad look for her. Pops of color came via her lip and slingback heels which topped off her look along with a center part, wavy cut. What do you think of Lucy's look?

Lucy Boynton in Chanel Couture at 'The Greatest Hits' LA Premiere

On Tuesday(April 15th) Lucy Boynton was back on the carpet for the premiere of 'The Greatest Hits' which was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The CHANEL SPRING 2024 COUTURE collection is really tough to transition from the runway to the red carpet, especially if the styling is not changed. Lucy's makeup belongs with an entirely different outfit, because it's too heavy and edgy for this ensemble.  

Also, that jacket is just glorious and if it was styled with a better bottoms, it would have been a great look. The bottom half just doesn't work and she kinda looks uncomfortable because in most of her images, she was covering her crotch with her hands.

With an ensemble like this, you have to exude the confidence to sell it and I don't see it here. Lucy is known as a fashion risk taker because she always gravitates towards difficult pieces. I like that she marches to her own style beat, but this look is a no for me. What do you think of Lucy's look?

Lucy Boynton in Emilia Wickstead at the Today Show

Lucy Boynton was spotted arriving for an appearance on the Today Show to continue promoting her new Hulu film ''The Greatest Hits'' on Monday(April 9th) in New York. 

Lucy stepped out in a EMILIA WICKSTEAD FALL 2024 purple floral mini dress, which was accessorized with biker shorts, sheer ankle socks and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN stacked heels. I am trying to understand why the black lace, biker shorts were added. 

The dress is really short which is why she probably wore them, but she could have gone with tights which would have been a better sell. I like the model's presentation because the mod like approach and the oxfords. 

On Lucy, it looks like she was trying to mimic the runway's styling with a twist. Either way, her look is a no for me. What do you think of Lucy's look?

Lucy Boynton in Jean Paul Gaultier by Simone Rocha Couture at 'The Greatest Hits' London Screening

Lucy Boynton returned to the carpet on Wednesday(March 27th) for the screening of 'The Greatest Hits' which was held at the Ham Yard Hotel in London.

Lucy tends to gravitate towards unusual fashion pieces that are hard to wear and this look proves that. She chose a nude and silver sequin frock from the JEAN PAUL GAULTIER by SIMONE ROCHA SPRING 2024 COUTURE collection. 

My first issue with this piece is that it washes her out so much. Even with the silver kohl rimmed eyes, this wasn't a great color choice for her. Also, the design doesn't help. If you know Simone Rocha pieces, the design doesn't come as a shock. 

Her pieces aren't for everyone and even though I believe this is right up Lucy's style alley, it doesn't make it a great look on her. Kudos to her for always taking fashion risks, but this is a no for me. What do you think of Lucy's look?

Lucy Boynton and Ronke Adekoluejo hit the carpet for the London premiere of ''‘Chevalier'' which was held at Everyman Borough Yards this evening(May 30th).

Lucy Boynton wore a BESPOKE HONOR black and purple metallic gown. This may not work well on some but for Lucy, it was the perfect look. Love the feel of the metallic and the period piece vibe. It definitely fits with the tone of the film.

Yesterday evening(December 14th) Lucy Boynton hit the carpet for the premiere of ''The Pale Blue Eye'' at the DGA Theater Complex in LA.

Debuting red tresses, she wore a structured CHANEL FALL 2020 COUTURE ivory gown. The dark red lip gave her overall look a gothic bride appeal. The idea behind her look suits her but it slightly misses the mark. 

I feel like the hair needed to be in an up-do and I dislike how the sleeves gather under her armpits. I do like the volume of the skirt but no so much. the fabric of the dress. Quibbles aside, this is not a bad look. Did Lucy sell you on her look?

2022 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Arts Dinner

During the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival yesterday evening(June 13th), the annual Chanel Arts Dinner took place at Balthazar in New York City. The guests were wearing CHANEL of course. 

Penelope Cruz wore a pink printed SPRING 2022 maxi dress and accessories. This dress would have been cute but it's the design of the that doesn't sit right with me. From the straps to the neckline, it's not working.
