2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 2

Following the Day 1 ceremony, the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 2 took place at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday(September 10th) in LA. 

Alexis Bledel wore a blush & cobalt J. MENDEL RESORT 2018 bishop sleeve floral embroidered gown with a jewel neckline and a pleated skirt. To avoid a washout, a rich pink lip shade was added to her beauty look. A HAYWARD HOUSE clutch, GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and a half-up half-down hairstyle. 

Laverne Cox served up major leg in a custom MIKAEL D PRE-FALL 2017 black long sleeve floor length dress with a contrasting gold sheer illusion & cut-out panel, a cut-out shoulder and thigh-high split. She vamped up her look with a dark red lip. An EDIE PARKER clutch, KENNETH COLE sandals and a ponytail with tendrils topped off her sultry look. 

Angela Bassett wore a vibrant red ROMONA KEVEZA SPRING 2017 one-shoulder gown with a cut-out bodice and a center front split. Love the gown & color but it is just too long on her. Also she should have gone with a strappy sandal over her CESARE PACIOTTI silver platform pumps which are not visible in this image.

Audi 68th Emmy's Celebration Wrap-up

Piper Perabo wore a sleeveless black MIKAEL D FALL 2016 dress which featured a sheer lace bodice and a structured detailed skirt. I really like the dress on the runway but Piper failed to bring it to life. She looks as if she just put the dress on and left for the party. A sleek, up-do, a colored lip and a simple strappy sandal could have elevated this look.

Constance Zimmer wore a cute two piece BLACK HALO ensemble which featured a off-the-shoulder ruffled top and black ankle length pants. Keeping her look interesting, she accessorized with a MILLY clutch, TAMARA MELLON teal pumps and EFFY, EF COLLECTION & NIGAAM jewelry. 

Ariel Winter has been trying so hard to be sexy lately and she is such a beautiful girl so she doesn't need to. This dress is too tight and the styling doesn't look good. There are pieces that she can chose to exude that sexy, modern look without coming off like she is trying so hard.

Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards Wrap-up

Debby Ryan wore a MIKAEL D SPRING 2016 black short sleeve fitted dress with lace panels. Instead of wearing a strappy sandals with her LBD, Debbi opted for metallic CESARE PACIOTTI cut-out pumps. Adding a playful detail to her look, she also accessorized with the LES PETITS JOUEURS 'AAH!' clutch. A smokey eye, pink lips and straight off-the-shoulder tresses completed her look. 

Skai Jackson was one of my favorites as the young starlet looked great in a GUCCI two-piece suit which was styled with JNB jewelry, a fun wavy print KOTUR clutch and RUTHIE DAVIS sandals. A high ponytail topped off her look. 

Rowan Blanchard always gets it right as she looked great as well in head to toe GIAMBATTISTA VALLI which featured a mixed media dress and black suede & silver glittery heel sandals. Center part waves completed her look.
