Angelina Jolie in Madame Gres at the ‘Maria’ 62nd New York Film Festival Premiere

Making a rare appearance, Angelina Jolie hit the black carpet for another premiere of ''Maria'' during the 62nd New York Film Festival which was held at Alice Tully Hall on Sunday(September 29th) in New York City.

Angelina went the vintage route, wearing a MADAME GRES draped, pleated gown from MON VINTAGE. I love the original version of this gown, but I'm afraid on Angelina, it fell flat. I don't really like the fit or the length on her. The gown appears to have been re-worked for her which probably was a mistake. 

The original version was so soft, elegant and I know she could have pulled it off. Her head styling was on point, but those platform sandals feel too heavy. For me, this was a miss. Did Angelina sell you on her vintage look?

'The New Look' NYC Premiere

On Monday(February 12th) Apple TV+'s ''The New Look'' premiere was held at Florence Gould Hall in New York City. 

Glenn Close wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR black skirt suit and accessories and she looked great. She embodied what the Dior ''The New Look'' was about. However, I kinda wish that she added a belt. 

Maisie Williams wore a COMME DES GARCONS FALL 1987 dress from MON VINTAGE. I actually like this but I wish the gloves were leather and I feel a necklace could have been added.
