81st Golden Globe Awards - Men

As always, the men made the presents known on the red carpet on Sunday(January 7th) for the 81st Golden Globe Awards which was held at the Beverly Hills Hilton in LA. 

Colman Domingo looked sharp as always wearing a custom LOUIS VUITTON suit which was accessorized with DAIVD YURMAN jewelry. 

Bradley Cooper went the classic route, wearing a LOUIS VUITTON tuxedo. The pants needed to be hemmed.

Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom at the 'Carnival Row' LA Premiere

Along with Cara Delevingne, Katy Perry supported partner Orlando Bloom at the premiere of his new film 'Carnival Row' yesterday evening(August 21st) at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA.

Katy Perry with her platinum blond tresses, wore a TOM FORD FALL 2019 pink double Georgette chain strap gown, with a v-neckline. On the runway, the gown was shown with the matching shawl which she left out. The chain straps is what gives this dress a standout appeal. I didn't see any good pics of her standing forward and alone but I do like the dress in general.

Orlando Bloom kept things simple in a navy two-piece suit which he teamed with a white button down shirt, a black tie and black dress shoes. A printed tie, and/or pocket square could have done this look some justice.

32nd Independent Spirit Awards Wrap-up

This evening(February 25th) the 32nd Independent Spirit Awards took place at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Aubrey Plaza wore a VERSUS VERSACE FALL 2016 ensemble which featured a the brands signature printed shirt and a black patent check print mini skirt. I kinda wish she went with sandals or a peep-toe bootie but the ensembles cute in general. 

Ava DuVernay looked great in a GUCCI FALL 2016 green printed floor long sleeve shirt dress with a tie neck detail and a pleated skirt. A flawless beauty look and neutral suede pumps finished up her look. 

Mahershala Ali wore a PRADA two-piece grey suit with a contrasting black satin shawl lapel which her styled simply with a white button down shirt and black tie. His burgundy suede loafers is what kept his look interesting.

The Harmonist 69th Cannes Film Festival Cocktail Party

Last nigh(May 16th) some celebs hit the black carpet at The Harmonist cocktail party during the 69th Cannes Film Festival at Martinez Beach in Cannes, France. At The Harmonist new maison de parfum party, Jason Derulo and Martin Solveig were on hand as performers. 

Kate Hudson wore a custom ROBERTO CAVALLI COUTURE powder blue knit bodysuit featuring a sequin and pearl embroidery matching chiffon maxi skirt. I kinda wish the hair was off-the-shoulder but I still like her look. BRIAN ATWOOD heels and a ATELIER SWARVOSKI clutch and jewelry topped off her look. 

Common was looked great in a classic PRADA black two-piece tuxedo styled simply with white button down shirt, a black bow tie and black shiny shoes. 

Karolina Kurkova wore a black GEORGES HOBEIKA SPRING 2016 halter dress with a beaded cut-out top. Instead of going with a colored lip, Karolina opted for a smokey eye. BULGARI jewelry, a small clutch and sleek off-the-shoulder hairstyle topped off her look. 

Heidi Klum wore a metallic SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2016 center front split dress. This dress is not working for me on Heidi and the hair & make-up doesn't compliment her look.

73rd Annual Golden Globe Men's

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel took place last night in Beverly Hills, California. While the ladies received a lot of attention, the men made some noise on the carpet as well. 

Michael B. Jordan usually steps out in printed suits but the 'Creed' star opted for a classic black tuxedo from DIOR HOMME. 

David Oyelowo was perhaps my favorite looking sharp in a printed burgundy tuxedo courtesy of DOLCE & GABBANA. A MONT BLANC watch and LOUBOUTIN shoes finished up his look.

Eddie Redmayne turned to his go to brand GUCCI for his red carpet look. While it's hard to see, the actor's classic black tuxedo featured purple embroidered details which kept his look interesting.
