On Wednesday(June 21st) Sarah Jessica Parker lit up the Empire State Building in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Sex and the City and the Season 2 premiere of ''And Just Like That…'' in New York City. 

SJP is known for her interesting fashion choices and for the most part, her look hits. I like this strapless SALONI bow jumpsuit on her. However I feel like she should have left the cardigan out. The color of the bow and cardigan clashes and they don't look great together. 

Also, I wish that the bow was a bit more structured and I would have liked to see her wearing a colored heel but I like her SJP shoes polka dots heels as well. But this is SJP, the styling speaks to her style aesthetics. What do you think of SJP's look?

One thing about Sarah Jessica Parker, she is always going to give you a look regardless if you like her style or not. The actress was spotted yesterday(October 15th) on the streets of New York doing a photoshoot in front of her SJP By Sarah Jessica Parker shoe store which is what the shoot was for. 

If you haven't heard of the black owned fashion label HANIFA, she should definitely check it out because the designer behind-the-label is changing the fashion game with her designs. SJP looked great in the brand's ''Miya'' purple knit cardigan, wrap dress which tied at the waist, with a fringe hem. 

I love this sweater dress and while it is available in five different colors, I love this rich, purple hue more. It looks great on SJP and her fuchsia SJP by SARAH JESSICA PARKER pumps offset it perfectly. Her signature center part waves and smokey eyes rounded out her look.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Sonnet James at the SJP By Sarah Jessica Parker Flagship Store

 

While some businesses didn't make it due to the ongoing pandemic, Sarah Jessica Parker opened one. The actress turned designer opened her SJP By Sarah Jessica Parker Flagship Store in NYC last month and earlier today(August 12th) she was spotted leaving it. 

SJP was at the store helping customers try on shoes and she wore the SONNET JAMES ''Violet' white floral, knee length dress with a gathered waist and hidden pockets. 

The dress is cute and suites her but I don't like her shoe choice. She is wearing the ''Celine'' dark denim pumps from her namesake shoe collection but I wish she wore a colored heel. A color that would have played off of her floral print dress. 

The styling has a lot going with the addition of the necklace and crossbody bag but it is definitely what makes this an SJP look. What do you think of the styling of SJP's look?

However it is so tight on the bust, her breast seems to be screaming for freedom. But this is glamourous, dramatic look which is so 'Carrie Bradshaw'. Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted leaving the Today Show this morning(September 18th) in New York, following her appearance where she discussed her new wine collection and her new comedy play 'Plaza Suite'. 

For her appearance, she wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION RESORT 2020 blue studded, fit 'n' flare crepe dress, which she accessorized with a silver chain necklace and glittery heels from her SJP shoe collection. I actually prefer the look book's styling but in general, this dress was a great choice for SJP's appearance.

However if I had to edit her look, I would remove the unnecessary chain necklace and I think her hair should have been pulled off-the-shoulders. What do you think of the styling of SJP's look?

Yesterday(July 25th) Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted out in New York, on her way to meet with Michelle Obama, who is still promoting her book 'Becoming'. 

For her outing, she chose a CYNTHIA ROWLEY RESORT 2020 white, black & pink ruffle printed ankle length dress, with a gathered waistline. She dressed up her piece with champagne embellished buckle Mary Jane's from her SJP Shoe collection.  

I like the dress, it totally suits her but the shoes doesn't work for me. I feel like the Halo or Bocca heels from her collection would have been better options. Also the Ursula if she wanted to do a gold heel. RAY-BAN glasses, a gold LUISA ALEXANDER necklace and a white shoulder strap bag finished up her look. Does SJP's shoe choice work for you?

On hand to support hubby Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted at the press night performance of 'The Starry Messenger' at the Wyndhams Theatre this evening(May 29th) in London.

SJP's J. MENDEL FALL 2019 black pleated cape sleeve dress is an edit version of the look book's dress. The v-neckline gave a peek at her black bra underneath but it is more visible in the back which doesn't look great. A touch of color, she accessorized with orange pumps from her namesake shoe collection. 

SJP almost, always over accessorized her look, which is why I am not surprised by the addition of the necklace, which was teamed with signature bracelets and RUCHI NEW YORK rings. Her signature smokey eyes and straight tresses rounded out her look.

It's been a little since I have seen Sarah Jessica Parker on the carpet but the actress was on hand for 'The Seafarer' opening night after-party at the Crompton Ale House yesterday evening(April 18th) in New York.  

When done right, polka dots could make a chic statement and I am loving this ALEXANDRA RICH SPRING 2018 navy & white long sleeve polka dot dress with a white contrasting collar & cuffs, padded shoulders, a center front button closure, a belted waist and a pleated skirt. It wouldn't be SJP if she didn't modify the dress. 

She rolled the sleeves and she appears to have had the skirt shorten, just below her knees. For me, I actually prefer the overall look of the dress on the model. I don't mind SJP's version as it suits her style but she should have gone with an off-the-shoulder hairstyle. She finished up with white pumps from her signature collection. When it comes to fashion, Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't follow the rules which sometimes works in her favor. Yesterday evening(November 2nd) she attended The Museum of The Moving Image 30th Annual Salute honoring Warren Beatty in New York. 

She hit the red carpet in a custom ROSIE ASSOULIN RESORT 2017 olive sheer ruffled floral embroidered dress with the matching bolero. SJP's exact piece wasn't featured in the look book, it was shown as a high waist skirt in the same fabrication. 

She accessorized her look with a DOLCE & GABBANA black & silver beaded headband, FOGAL OF SWITZERLAND stocking and satin sandals from her SJP shoe collection. For me, the pieces doesn't coordinate together and her overall look has to much going on. Seeing the dress from other angles, with some modifications to the styling, this could have worked. Sarah Jessica Parker in Dolce & Gabbana at HBO's 'Divorce' Season 1 NYC Premiere

Whether hit or miss, when it comes to Sarah Jessica Parker keeps it interesting. Yesterday evening(October 4th) she attended the Season 1 premiere of her new HBO show 'Divorce' at the SVA Theater New York City. 

She hit the blue carpet wearing a DOLCE & GABBAN purple layered lace tea length dress with bracelet length sleeves and a jewel embellished bodice. The dress appears much shorter in the look book but I think SJP could have made it work either way. 

I actually like this dress on SJP but I do have a few quibbles about the overall look. Her eye make-up which is her signature, feels a bit heavy. Also I appreciate how she always promotes her SJP shoe collection on the carpet but the satin pump from her collection doesn't coordinate with her dress. What do you think of SJP's look?

Lupita Nyong'o in Busayo & DPiper Twins Promoting the 'Queen of Katwe' in Uganda

Lupita Nyong'o has been delivering some great looks on her promo tour for the 'Queen of Katwe' a moving that I can't wait to see. This weekend she premiered the film in Uganda and of course she looked great showing off two different look on her instagram. 

She had some fun before the premiere twirling around in a printed ensemble by BUSAYO which featured the Taiwo top and the Kehinde flare mini skirt. She topped off her look with matching cobalt blue pumps from the SJP shoe collection, a pink head wrap and dark sunglasses. 

For the premiere, she wore a DPIPER TWINS SPRING 2016 colorful sleeveless wide leg jumpsuit with a plunging v-neckline and the matching head scarf. The styling was kept simple with statement drop earrings and a glossy colorful. 

I just love how fun and colorful these looks are but I favor her premiere look the most. Which of Lupita's look do you favor?

Julianna Margulies & Sarah Jessica Parker at the New York City Ballet Fifth Annual Fall Fashion Gala

Along with Diane Kruger, Julianna Margulies and Sarah Jessica Parker also attended the New York City Ballet fifth Annual Fall Fashion Gala yesterday evening(September 20th) in New York. 

Julianna Margulies wore a strapless SELF-PORTRAIT black guipure lace trimmed dress with lattice cut-outs. Julianna removed the sheer bow straps the dress was shown with in the look book and her look worked so much better without it. The STUART WEIZTMAN 'Nudist' sandals and a quiffed bun finished up her look. 

Sarah Jessica Parker wore a NARCISO RODRIGUEZ two-tone dress which featured a long sleeve plum wide v-neck top with a cut-out back and a blush pink floor length skirt. I like the idea of this dress but I don't like the fit of the top. Her SJP 'Fugue' black sandals, smokey eyes and center part straight tresses finished up her look.

Sarah Jessica Parker is currently in London to promote her new fragrance "SJP Stash' and yesterday(September 13th) she attended the launch party at Hotel Cafe Royal. 

For her outing, she stepped out in the EMILIA WICKSTEAD FALL 2016 'Georgina' long sleeve floral fil coupe dress with cut-out shoulders and a flare skirt. I like the color contrast of her SJP 'Fawn' satin pumps with this dress. 

However I am not to crazy about the CHLOE 'Faye' patchwork bag with this dress but I do like it in general. Also I wish the hair was pulled back off-the-shoulders and the necklace could have been left out. Other than that, her look was on tune for her outing. Are you feeling the styling of SJP's look?

Meryl Streep in Valentino at the Florence Foster Jenkins NYC Premiere

Last night(August 9th) Meryl Streep hit the red carpet at the premiere of Florence Foster Jenkins at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square Theater in New York.

For the occasion, she wore a VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2016 long sleeve light blue and white printed calf length shift dress. I actually like this dress for Meryl but I find it to be a bit too loose, especially on the sleeves. 

Even though this is a pre-fall dress, it does have a light, summery feel to it and I kinda wish she wore sandals over the pumps which are from the SJP SHOE collection. An AMANDA PEARL clutch, tinted glasses and a minimal make-up finished up her look.
