'Twisters' LA Premiere

Following London photocall, Daisy Edgar-Jones and more attended the 'Twisters' premiere which was held at the Regency Village Theatre in LA on Thursday(July 11th).

Daisy Edgar-Jones looked fantastic wearing a GUCCI cut away back dress. The gold jewelry and a the ponytail with bangs complimented her dress perfectly to top it off. 

Glen Powell wore a custom BRIONI khaki green suit. I like the suit, but I wish that he wore a tie, with the jacket button. Also, a brooch would have have been a nice addition.

Yesterday(May 5th) Alison Oliver, Jemima Kirke and Sasha Lane hit the red carpet for the premiere of BBC 3's new series 'Conversations with Friends' at the Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch in London.

Alison Oliver wore a red EMILIA WICKSTEAD backless jumpsuit accessorized with LAURENCE DACADE boots and ALIGHIERI jewelry. Love the color but I dislike how the sleeves are roles and the seam detail on the bust. 

Jemima Kirke worked the split on her two-tone dress from NEW YORK VINTAGE. This is a great dress and the addition of the red lip was a great choice. 

Sasha Lane sparkled in a JW ANDERSON sequin, collard dress which was styled with green knee socks & black sandals. At first glance, I was like hmmm but I like this and the socks provide a complimentary pop of color.

While her style can be hit or miss, Sasha Lane marches to the beat of her own style drum and there is nothing wrong with that. Yesterday(April 8th) she stopped by the Build Series in New York to discuss her upcoming film 'Hellboy'.

This CHRISTOPHER KANE FALL 2019 collection is not for everyone but it is right up Sasha's style alley. I can't say that I am loving the two-tone tiered cupcake skirt on her but it's quirky, feminine design suits Sasha. 

She toughen up her look with black, double buckle boots by PRADA. I am sure the nature of this look won't go over well with some but I like Sasha for her fashion, risk taking sense. What are your thoughts on Sasha's look?

On Friday(October 19th) the 2018 GLSEN Respect Awards took place at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Katherine Langford looked great a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI FALL 2018 black lace & floral embrodiered dress which was accessorized with MARLI earcuffs, MISAHARA, DJULA & MAXIOR rings and JIMMY CHOO sandals. 

Storm Reid is always serving up style and the young starlet looked chic wearing head to toe SELF-PORTRAIT RESORT 2019. She wore a blue star & floral tie dress with contrasting black trimming and the 'Petal' white ankle boots. We are almost always seeing Storm with braids but the actress let her hair loose and she it was flawless. 

Logan Browning looked cute wearing a TORY BURCH long sleeve printed shirt dress which she teamed with a pink chain strap bag and black embellished mules.

Yesterday(July 22nd) Chloe Moretz and Sasha Lane hit the red carpet for 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post' screening during the 2018 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival closing night gala at the Ace Hotel in LA.

Chloe Moretz wore a STELLA MCCARTNEY FALL 2018 long sleeve floral velvet dress which barley gazed the floor. On the runway, the dress was layered with a sheer lace panel dress which thankfully she ditched. Again, I know that people can wear what they want but velvet in the summertime will always be odd to me. Anyways, this wasn't a good fashion choice for her.

Sasha Lane wore the PREEN BY THORNTON BREGAZZI FALL 2018 'Vonetta' white dress, featuring a mandarin collar, a ruffle draped panel and a cut-out waist. While Sasha has worn sandals or pumps on the carpet, she is more of a boot girl which is why it is no surprise that she is wearing white boots by THE FRYE COMPANY with her dress. Because this dress is so fussy, her hair should have been completely off-the-shoulder.

Yesterday(April 22nd) Chloe more and Sasha Lane attended the 'Miseducation of Cameron Post' premiere during the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival at The Seville Lounge in New York. 

Chloe Moretz turned to LOUIS VUITTON wearing a SPRING 2018 white bishop sleeve, tie neck blouse, a silver jacquard vest and black trousers. She is also wearing black platform boots from the designer house. While I don't think this is a bad look, I still feel like Chloe hasn't found a style that works for her. 

Sasha Lane rocked a monochrome black & white VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2018 ruffle one-shoulder mini dress which she teamed with the PEDRO GARCIA 'Ana' black satin ankle booties that added edge to her look. Keeping the styling of her look simple, she finished up with a purple smokey eye which according to her MUA was a homage to Prince and a ponytail.

Sasha Lane keep casual in a short sleeve printed tweed dress with a v-neckline. Sasha could have easily wore pumps or sandals with this dress but I like that she opted for black lace-up oxfords.

Sasha Lane emerged on the fashion scene last year and her red carpet appearances don't seem to be slowing down. On Friday(May5th) she attended the Panthere de Cartier Watch collection launch party at Milk Studios in LA. 

For the occasion, she turned to STELLA MCCARTNEY wearing a dress from the designer's RESORT 2017 collection. Her long printed dress featured a pleated layered neckline and a two-tier skirt. 

For me, I am more sold on this dress looking at the model in the look book versus seeing it on Sasha. Also I can't say that I favor her shoe choice either but I will always like her dreadlocks. Did Sasha sell you on her look?

Dressed in H&M Ashley Graham, Sasha Lane and Nicki Minaj attended the Rei Kawakubo Comme des Garcons-Art of the In-Between 2017 MET Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art on May 1st in New York.  

Ashley Graham who also attended a pre-Met party, worked her frame in a strapless white & red floor length gown with cascading tulle florals from the shoulder to the hem of the gown. A slick side part up-do, PIAGET jewelry and SCHUTZ sandals finished up her look. 

Sasha Lane wore a black strapless beaded organza calf length dress. Another sheer look, similar to something we have already seen. However I can't say that I like the bodice of the dress but I like her beauty look. The EDIE PARKER 'Jean' clutch finished up her look.

Nicki Minaj showed some leg in a black & red beaded panel jacket with a belted waist & dramatic train and black shorts. This is such a Nicki look but it definitely worked for the occasion. VERSACE sandals, red lip and straight tresses finished up her look.

Making a political statement, Riley Keough & Sasha Lane posed together on the blue carpet at the 32nd Independent Spirit Awards this evening(February 25th) at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA. Both ladies were wearing LOUIS VUITTON.

Riley Keough wore head to toe white which featured a short sleeve leather mini dress with pockets and white patent ankle boots. She kept her look somewhat interesting with white & black polka dot chain strap bag which topped off her look along with straight tresses and pink lips. 

Sasha Lane wore a SPRING 2017 statement necklace and a olive utilitarian inspired jacket with the matching mini skirt and a 'Black Lives Matter' jersey by MIZIZI. Her look is cute but I wish she went with a better shoe choice. Given her style, those boots from the Spring 2017 collection would have been ideal instead of the shoes that she is wearing which is from the same collection.

Wearing LOUIS VUITTON of course, she was head to toe in SPRING 2017 featuring a sleeveless black ruffled neck coat with a low arm hole opening & the matching leather panel flare mini skirt and two-tone leather ankle booties.

This black ensemble suits Sasha's, especially with the boots. However on this occasion, I kinda wish she kept the snakeskin version of the boots from the runway. It just kept the ensemble more interesting. She looked great nonetheless.
