Chanel Fall 2015 Show Review

The Brasserie CHANEL is now open. Karl Lagerfeld is known for his standout theme runway shows and for FALL 2015, it was no different. The runway show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris and was a set in a brasserie style. Models strutted out in classic Chanel shoes and then took their seats at the bar or tables.

While the collection referenced French style, it's for the woman who craves stylish, chic pieces. Loved the quilted embellished bomber style jackets which were paired with pencil skirts. However their were also peplum style jackets/blazers that were updated with a high collar and quilted sleeves which were also my favorites. Valentino Fall 2015 Show Review

Get ready for the Zoo because the announcement of 'Zoolander 2' came in the best possible way. The VALENTINO FALL 2015 runway show took place today in Paris during fashion week but the internet was buzzing because Owen Wilson & Ben Stiller closed the show. The two actors took the runway in character as Derek Zoolander & Hansel, which lead to the sequel announcement via twitter by Paramount. 

While they might have stir things up, the clothing did make an impact. The collection opened up with patterned monochrome black & white stripes and check pieces merged together which I loved. However their were lots of the designers signature lace and embroidery. I was gravitating towards a dragon embroidered motif sweater which was styled with a sheer lace panel. Maison Margiela Fall 2015 Show Review

John Galliano debut his second but first ready-to-wear collection for MAISON MARGIELA today in Paris during fashion week. The FALL 2015 collection was a bit theatrical which is what Galliano does best. Models faces were painted with  in dark eye make-up & lipstick but some had bold, vibrant make-up looks which were interestingly clown like.

Also their were the shoes which featured double strap Mary Jane's with over-sized ankle straps and furry mules that some of the models walked in that added a whimsical touch. A.F. Vandevorst Fall 2015 Show Review

For FALL 2015, A.F. VANDEVORST held a presentation that featured models posing in the pieces from the collection wearing mask. However the collection got a whimsical touch by way of the headdresses that featured a over-sized bird and separate wings. Also with the rise of the hat trend, it was no surprise to see some of the models wearing chic felt hats as well. Pieces were mostly done in all black with pops of grey, white and and a floral pattern. Jackets, dresses & some skirts were sculpted, while pants were on the tailored side. H&M Studio Fall 2015 Show Review

Last night the H&M STUDIO Paris Fashion Show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris and for FALL 2015, the brand went the futuristic route with a sporty chic appeal. Lurex was used throughout the collection which boosted the futuristic vibe. The functional pieces were merged with layers of feminine separates that the H&M girl will appreciate.

I love H&M because you are always able to find wearable pieces for any occasion. My favorite fashion go to piece are jumpsuits so I was delighted to see the brand featuring sporty zip fronts styles in the lineup. The jackets were also winners along with the knee high boots the models walked in. Overall the collection boasted key style pieces to help you put your fall look together. Prada Fall 2015 Show Review

For FALL 2015 PRADA went the pastel route with a charming retro appeal. Miuccia also offered up sweet 60's silhouettes and feminine details. My favorites were the boxy, princess coats along with the cropped suits. The models looks were accessorized with bowling bags, brooches, over-sized sunglasses and opera gloves which has already been spotted on the red carpet. 

Shoes wise, models strutted in classic 'Mary Jane' pumps with a modern interpretation from the designer. The Mary Jane was done with a pointy toe, double straps and a stacked heel which came down the runway in an array of colors. Tom Ford Fall 2015 Show Review

Last night TOM FORD showed his FALL 2015 collection to a star studded crowd at Milk Studios in LA. With the Spirit Awards tonight and the Oscars tomorrow, this was a bold move for the designer to show this weekend along with the start of London Fashion Week. Models strutted down a white rose petal runway in pieces that had a mix of Bohemian and  romantic Victorian touches. 

Colorful patchwork, fringe and tiers of ruffles were some of the details Tom used in the collection. My favorites pieces was a white long sleeve dress with tiers of flirty fringe and a leopard fur coat that Joan Smalls walked in. I did like the denim patchwork as well which took me back to 70's style. Also the thigh-high boots in the collection was hot. Lela Rose Fall 2015 Show Review

LELA ROSE is known for her sweet feminine looks and FALL 2015, she stayed true to her signature style. Lela gave the girl this season fun, flirty fringe cut failles and feathers. The designer also threw in the mix charming gingham prints along with jacquard floral embroidery. Models strutted down the runway in chic midi sheath dresses and A-line skirts that I am sure her customers would appreciate.

My favorite piece was a black & silver sheer panel and woven fringe peplum dress which I really hope to see on the red carpet. While their were a lot of great daytime and evening wear, Lela did offer up some stylish separates like a long & short belted coats, loose sweaters paired with skirts and cropped tops and skirts. Badgley Mischka Fall 2015 Show Review

BADGLEY MISCHKA is known for their gorgeous gowns and cocktails dresses and for FALL 2015, the design duo stayed true to their brand. Inspired by the traditions of matador baroque embellishments and the film 'Blood & Sands', the theme of the collection was teamed with sassy retro bouffants. 

For Mark & James, it wasn't about layers and chunky knits, it was about chic statement daywear with glamorous looks for the evening. Then their were the outerwear and one of my favorites was a white tweed belted trench coat which if styled right, can be pulled off as a dress. Reem Acra Fall 2015 Show Review

Every season, you can almost always expect to see a great selection of red carpet hits from REEM ACRA and you can expect the same for FALL 2015. The collection featured a bevy of statement dresses with lots of embellishments, charming embroidery and feminine lace panels. Detail was key here which is something she does well. It was all about the high necklines, sometimes with embellishments or embroidery, puffy sleeves and skirts with movement. 

However for some reason I was on a coat high because the coats in general during this season were the best I've seen in a while. Love, love, love this black with gold embroidered coat with a lace cuff. It's on my wish list. Overall, the collection is perfect for the women who wants an un-forced standout look.
