Sonia Bergamasco in Armani Prive at the 73rd Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

On hand as one of juror's, Sonia Bergamasco hit the red carpet at the closing ceremony for the 73rd Venice Film Festival yesterday evening(September 10) in Venice, Italy.

During the festival, she has been wearing ARMANI PRIVE a lot so it was not surprise to see her turn to the designer again for the closing ceremony. Her SPRING 2016 COUTURE strapless dress featured a lavender, black & silver beaded bodice and a lavender beaded metal skirt.   

Sonia added a contrasting velvet waistband to her dress but on this occasion, I liked the dress either way. Minimal make-up and a complimentary braided up-do finished up her look. Do you prefer the dress with the velvet waistband or without like the runway?

Franca: Chaos & Creation 73rd Venice Film Festival Premiere Wrap-up

Franca Sozzani and more attended the premiere of her new film Franca: Chaos and Creation during the 73rd Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy.

Eva Herizgova who did a quick change following the Nocturnal Animals premiere, switched into a PHILOSOPHY DI LORENZA SERAFINI FALL 2016 white fur coat with an contrasting black bow detail and a white long sleeve layered lace turtleneck mini dress with the same strapless bodysuit underneath from her previous look. My main issue with Eva's look here are the red pumps. She quickly went from one premiere to the next it and it feels like she grabbed the first shoe that would match. The color contrast is fine, I just wish they were sandals.

Naomi Campbell showed some skin in a simple black v-neck VERSACE center front high split floor length dress with an contrasting red satin underlining. I would have liked to see her with a statement necklace here to her dress up her look and a strappy sandal. Her signature straight center front tresses and a red lip finished up her look.

Matilda Lutz continues to show love for MIU MIU wearing a sheer black tulle beaded layered v-neck dress with a tie shoulder detail and a satin contrasting waistband. Instead of wearing simple strappy sandals, she opted for black pearl embellished pumps which are also by the brand.

La La Land Premiere & the 73rd Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony Wrap-up

The  73rd Venice Film Festival kicked off today(August 31st) in Venice, Italy with the premiere of La La Land and the opening ceremony. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Anna Safroncik stood out because of her vibrant yellow ALBERTA FERRETTI chiffon layered maxi dress with a draped train detail in the back and a contrasting black waistband. A black clutch, CRIVELLI jewelry, a complimentary up-do and a smokey eye finished up her look. 

Eleonora Carisi wore a white long sleeve embroidered ASHI STUDIO FALL 2016 COUTURE dress with a pleated hi lo hem, a v-neckline and a open-back. I really do like this dress, one of my favorites from this collection. However I wish she went with a silver strappy sandals and the hair was sleeker. Also her star tattoos are a tad distracting. 

Zhao Wei wore a VALENTINO FALL 2016 COUTURE black long sleeve gown with white contrasting shoulder panels. I thought the Chinese actress looked beautiful but I wish the hair was in a sleek up-do.
