Tracee Ellis Ross in Suno at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards

Whether hit or miss, what I love about Tracee Ellis Ross style, is that she has fun with it and she is not afraid of taking risk. She was on hand for the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. 

She posed on the carpet rocking one of her got to brand's, SUNO. Her FALL 2016 sleeveless beaded metallic dress featured a ruffled panel which is not visible and a back split. Highlighting the red hue on her dress, she wore red suede sandals and added a red pout to her beauty look.

 It could be the way that she is posing but the creases are a tad distracting. I can't say that I love this dress but as always kudos for her always taking a risk. A braided ponytail and a JIMMY CHOO clutch finished up her look. Are you feeling Tracee's metallic look?

Ruth Negga in David Koma, Suno & Marc Jacobs at the Preacher LA Premiere & the 69th Cannes Film Festival

Every so often we see a new face on the carpet and today we have Ruth Negga. The actress attended her new TV series premiere over the weekend in LA and then she jetted off to Cannes, France for the 69th Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film. 

On Saturday(May 14th) she attended AMC's the Preacher premiere in LA wearing a DAVID KOMA black long sleeve beaded center front split dress styled with a black clutch & platform sandals. Love the dress along with the hair & make-up but the shoes don't work for me. Something simple and strappy would have been ideal. 

Earlier today(May 16th), she attended the Loving photocall at Cannes wearing a SUNO FALL 2016 printed gold lame long sleeve pleated shirtdress with a button closure bodice. It could be the way she is posing but I don't like how the waistline falls on her or the length. Maybe she should have belted it. Also a simpler gold sandal or even black would have worked better. A colored lip topped off her look. 

Later on this evening(May 16th), she attended the premiere wearing a custom see-through MARC JACOBS black long sleeve lace embroidered dress with a black bodysuit underneath. Love her beauty look which feature retro pinned curls and a dark red lip. PETER PILOTTO FOR SWARVOSKI jewelry topped off her look.

Tracee Ellis Ross in Suno at the REFUGEE Exhibit Opening

Tracee Ellis Ross knows how to deliver great looks on & off the carpet which is why I like her style. However we all have our off days. Last night she attended the Annenberg Space for Photography REFUGEE exhibition opening in LA.

She hit the red carpet in a SUNO FALL 2016 long sleeve sheer navy & silver metallic flower detail floor length dress with the matching tie waist and ruffle panels on the neck, waist & hem. The dress was layered with a midi navy slip on the runway but instead Tracee opted for a navy lace bra and a navy skirt. 

Thankfully she ditched the shimmery turtleneck panel because it was not needed. Tracee's look boast a futuristic vibe which was on tune for a space exhibit and with that said, I do prefer the presentation of the dress on the runway minus the turtleneck panel. Also I don't get the black tote, love it but it doesn't work with this dress. However I lover her twisted, bantu lock inspired hair. Gold earrings topped off her look. Is Tracee selling this look to you?

Gwyneth Palltrow in Suno at the Inside goop with Gwyneth Paltrow & Lisa Gersh

On Friday(April 15th) Gwyneth Paltrow made an appearance in Chicago, IL for the Inside goop with Gwyneth Paltrow & Lisa Gersh discussion panel at the Venue SIX10. 

For the occasion, she wore a SUNO FALL 2016 sleeveless black beaded embroidered midi chiffon layered dress with a ruffled high neck. 

Adding and extra touch of shimmer to her look, she wore the SERGIO ROSSI FALL 2016 'Tamara' gold beaded sandals which I love. I also love this look overall but my main issue here as with all of her looks, is the hair. An up-do to compliment the high neck would have been ideal. What do you think of GP's look?

Rosario Dawson in Suno at the 2016 UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability Gala

Yesterday evening Rosario Dawson showed a touch of skin at the 2016 UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability Gala at a private residence in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Turning to one of her favorite brands, she wore a SUNO SPRING 2016 short sleeve geometric print dress which featured the brand's signature cut-out waist. If this looks familiar, that's because Carla Gugino wore it last year. 

While I do like the dress, this is a gala right? Looking at the other attendees red carpet looks, I guess this was a casual gala. With that being said, I can't say that I like the overall styling of her look anyway. Did Rosario sell this look to you?

Rosario Dawson in Suno at the 'Daredevil' Season 2 NYC Premiere

Last night Rosario Dawson attended the Netflix season 2 premiere of Marvel's original series 'Daredevil' at the AMC Loews Licoln Square in NYC. 

She hit the black carpet in a three-quarter sleeve SUNO midi dress done in a saturated floral print with a wide neckline and a deep scoop back. I wish she went for a simple ankle strap sandal over her LOUISE ET CIE black embellished back heel pumps which got lost in the carpet.

It's just a let down with the dress and the midi length on this occasion doesn't work for her either. While the overall look doesn't excite due to the styling, I do like the dress. Center part locks and glossy berry lips topped off her look.
