Following an FYC Event, Kate Hudson hit the carpet for the Newport Beach TV FEST Honoring Kate Hudson which was held at the Lido Theater on Thursday(June 5th) in Newport Beach, California.

We maybe at the beginning of summer but that didn't stop Kate from wearing a black long sleeve velvet, high-neck gown from the GRETA CONSTANTINE FALL 2025 collection. I do have some quibbles about the look, the first being that it's too warm for velvet. 

Also, the padded shoulders don't look that great on her and I feel like she needed some jewelry. Despite my quibbles, I still don't think this is a bad look. What do you think of Kate's velvet look?

Dakota Johnson in Gucci at the 'Daddio' 2024 Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Dakota Johnson made an appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of ''Daddio'' which was held during the 2024 Tribeca Festival at the BMCC Theater on Monday( June 10th ) in New York City.

Dakota showed some skin in sheer organza blue & lace dress from the GUCCI RESORT 2025 collection. This looks like lingerie or sleepwear, but it's definitely a look that's right up Dakota's style alley. 

I am not fan. If it was a solid blue, I am sure the results would be different. Also, I feel like she should have gone with a colored or silver metallic heel. Are you feeling Dakota's look?

Berenice Bejo in Giorgio Armani at the 2024 Lille Series Mania Festival Opening Ceremony

On Friday(March 15th) Berenice Bejo hit the purple for the 2024 Series Mania Festival opening ceremony and the Netflix premiere of ''3 Body Problem'' in Lille, France.

Making somewhat of a shiny entrance, she wore a GIORGIO ARMANI fluid armure lurex top with the matching high-waisted, cuffed trousers. Given the tone of this festival, her shiny lurex ensemble worked. In the look book, it was shown with a statement buckle belt which I kinda miss, but it doesn't hurt her look without it. 

What's unfortunate about her look, are those creases which clearly she got from sitting. Also, I kinda wish that she wore colored ankle strap sandals, but I either way, I am still onboard with her look which was topped off with TASAKI jewelry.

Laura Dern in Rodarte at the 2023 Filming Italy Sardegna Festival - Day 3

This evening(June 23rd) in Italy, Laura Dern hit the red carpet on Day 3 of the 2023 Filming Italy Sardegna Festival in Santa Margherita di Pula, Italy.

I feel like Laura's look had potential but the styling fell flat as always. I am going to assume that she styled this herself because I can't believe a stylist would actually accessorized this RODARTE embellished floral dress with that VALENTINO taupe bag & ballerina flats. 

Maybe she was going for comfort but there are better accessory options than these. Also, the hair should have been sleek and off-the-shoulder. She just needs to be styled in the right pieces and I believe her style with elevate. What do you think of the styling of Laura's look?

6th Canneseries International Festival Closing Ceremony

Sarah Michelle Gellar and more hit the pink carpet for the 6th Canneseries International Festival closing ceremony this evening(April 19th) in Cannes, France. 

Rachele Brosnahan wore a PRADA two-tone, floral strapless dress with a draped bow detail in the back. I like the idea behind this dress, but I dislike the crinkled fabric on the neckline, and the creases at the hem. Also, the color is not the best but generally speaking, it was a great design choice to closeout the festival.

On Tuesday(April 18th) she stepped out in the MARIA LUCIA HOHAN 'Tania' black dress. Even though I dislike the neckline, this would have been a better look if jewelry was added and a different hairstyle.

Camille Razat in A.W.A.K.E. Mode at the 'Emily In Paris' 39th PaleyFest LA Premiere

Along with Lily Collins and Ashley Park, Camille Razat attended the 'Emily In Paris' 39th PaleyFest LA premiere at the Dolby Theatre yesterday(April 10th).

Rocking an all black ensemble, she wore an A.W.A.K.E. MODE FALL 2021 backless, pleated top and the matching wide-leg pleated pants. Wearing all black on a black carpet can be tough because the bottom half of your look can get lost in the carpet like we are seeing here. 

If you check out her stylist page HERE, you will see that this is a great look. Her ROGER VIVIER heels work no doubt but she could have benefitted from some open-toe heels or even a colored pair. But again, it was a great look. What do you think of Camille's all black ensemble?

On Sunday(April 3rd) Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi hit the black carpet for the 2022 PaleyFest LA ''Black-ish'' screening. 

Tracee Ellis Ross wore a PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2022 degrade floral dress with a key-hole neckline. The dress was done in three different prints but the boldness of this combination suits Tracee. I almost feel like she should have belted the waist and I definitely would have paired those black boots with it. Louboutin has blue pumps that would have been a better choice.

Hailee Steinfeld in Balmain at the 'Dickinson' 2019 Tribeca TV Festival Screening

On Saturday(September 14th) Hailee Steinfeld struck a pose on the red carpet for the screening of 'Dickinson' during the 2019 Tribeca TV Festival Screening. 

She showed off her her décolletage in a BALMAIN RESORT 2020 white & black off-the-shoulder, houndstooth tunic dress with contrasting gold buttons and long bell sleeves. In the look book, Hailee's piece is shown with the matching pants, which clearly she ditched.

For her, I don't think she needed the pants but I wish we had a full length view of it to see how they really look with this top. Overall, she opted to go the sexy, edgy route, by teaming her piece with black thigh-high boots. Minimal make-up and a high ponytail rounded out her look.
