Yesterday evening(February 22nd) Yara Shahidi hit the red carpet for the 51st NAACP Image Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in LA.

Yara is fresh from Milan Fashion Week after attending the GUCCI runway show so it is no surprise that she chose to wear a dress from the fashion house. Serving up some leg action, she wore embellished, embroidered mini dress from the FALL 2019 collection. 

Her beauty look was simple but flawless, which allowed her detailed mini dress to shine. CARTIER jewelry and metallic platform sandals finished up her look.

Following her attendance at the ABC press tour, Marsai Martin was on hand for the 51ST NAACP Image Awards Nominations Announcement this morning(January 9th) at the SLS Hotel in LA. 

The young starlet struck a pose in a MARCHESA NOTTE PRE-FALL 2020 floral and lace panel, collared midi dress which was gathered at the waist. This has a spring vibe to it but I still like it. Sometimes her looks tend to be on the mature side and this hits that line.

However I would swap out the black CHLOE GOSSELIN sandals for a nude, pink or yellow hue and her braids pulled down, in a side parted swoop for a more youthful feel. What do you think of Marsai's look?

The young starlet chose a THOM BROWNE dress from the designer's SPRING 2020 collection and I think this is the sexiest that I have ever seen her. The dress looks a little too tight on the bust but it's a corset and I still thought she pulled it off.

However those shoes are hideous and it is what brings this look down. She finished up her look with a braided hairstyle and a vibrant pink lip color.
