'Ash Is The Purest White' 71st Cannes Film Festival Premiere Wrap-up

Moran Atias worked the split on her ALBERTA FERRETTI custom made black silk velvet strapless gown with a high front slit and pink taffetà maxi bow on the back and train. While black sandals could have been a choice here, I am glad that she chose a natural pink shade. Red lips, side parted tresses and statement earrings finished up her look. 

Bella Hadid wore a custom dusky pink satin cuir dress with a train in the back by CHRISTIAN DIOR. While looking through her images, Bella seemed to be struggling to keep the top. The dress is simple in design so she dressed it up with BULGARI jewelry. Minimal make-up and side parted straight tresses finished up her look. 

Eleonora Carisi wore a signature red VALENTINO long sleeve red dress with a fit 'n' flare silhouette. As an brand ambassador for BULGARI, naturally she wore jewelry from the brand. However I wish she wore a statement necklace.

Aja Naomi King in Pamella Roland at the 'Ash Is The Purest White' 71st Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following appearance at a premiere yesterday, Aja Naomi was back on the red carpet for L'Oreal this evening(May 11th) for the 'Ash Is The Purest White' premiere during the 71st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. 

Because of her skin tone, Aja can literally pull of any color which is one of the reasons this PAMELLA ROLAND PRE-FALL 2018 ruby red gown looked divine on her. 

The chiffon & organza layered gown featured a v-neckline and tiers of ruffles cascading around on the skirt. I easily prefer this look over her previous one. MESSIKA jewelry, the white satin BRIAN ATWOOD 'Ash' heels, side parted tresses and a dark red lip finished up her look.

Fan Bingbing in Alexis Mabille Couture at the 'Ash Is The Purest White' 71st Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following her photocall appearance, Fan Bingbing made a elegant entrance on the red carpet this evening(May 11th) for the 'Ash Is The Purest White' premiere during the 71st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. 

ALEXIS MABILLE is one of my favorite designers but we don't see his pieces on the red carpet as much as I would like. Naturally I was pleasantly happy to see Fan wearing a one-shoulder, detailed gown from his SPRING 2018 COUTURE collection. 

Fan is a natural at picking ball skirt gowns that don't overwhelm her. The creases are unfortunate but I love the color and design of this gown which looked divine on her. A side parted ponytail, red lips and a glittery gold clutch finished up her look.

Deepika Padukone & Araya Hargate in Ashi Couture at the 'Ash Is The Purest White' 71st Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following their attendance at a premiere yesterday, Deepika Padukone and Araya Hargate made dramatic entrances in ASHI SPRING 2018 COUTURE this evening(May 11th) for the premiere of 'Ash Is The Purest White' during the 71st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. 

Deepika Padukone made the most impactful entrance as she could not be missed in this bold fuchsia  pleated tulle gown with winged shoulders, a v-neckline, a short skirt in the front and a flowing, long train in the back. My only quibble is that I wish she wore a ankle strap sandal over her matching fuchsia AQUAZZURA pumps. However that doesn't outweigh the drama she is serving up here. 

Araya Hargate wore a white long sleeve feather jumpsuit with voluminous sleeves, a v-neckline and wide-leg trousers. Adding some color to her look, she accessorized with diamond, emerald stone jewelry. When I first saw this piece, I was hoping that it would make it's way the carpet. But just like her previous look, she doesn't sell it to me. The volume & feathers is what makes this piece standout on Araya.

Cheryl Cole in Zuhair Murad at the 'Ash Is The Purest White' 71st Cannes Film Festival Premiere

On hand as a guest of L'Oreal, Cheryl Cole hit the red carpet for the premiere of 'Ash Is The Purest White' during the 71st Cannes Film Festival this evening(May 11th) in Cannes, France.

Tackling the sheer trend, she wore a ZUHAIR MURAD RESORT 2018 white sleeveless beaded gown which featured a self-tie turtleneck, ruffle panels and a short trail in the back. 

I really like this delicate beaded gown, however the hair and seeing it from different angles, is the let down here. A sleeker, up-do would have compliment the neckline & the details. Statement jewelry and a red lip finished up her look.
