2018 Billboard Music Awards Wrap-up

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards took place this evening(May 20th) at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Taylor Swift who walked away a winner, worked the split on her pink & silver embellished ATELIER VERSACE dress which featured a v-neckline and a short sleeve on one-side. The back featured a sultry cutout back & draped panel. You can check it out via her stylist instagram. She finished up with HUEB earrings, CASADEI sandals and a complimentary beauty look.

Kelly Clarkson who hosted the show, wore a CHRISTIAN SIRAINO black long sleeve custom gown with crystal embellished, cutout shoulders, an asymmetrical neckline, a split, a belted waist and train detail. I really like the detailed top, she looked great. 

Padman Lakshmi wore a THE BLONDS SPRING 2017 one-shoulder embellished metallic dress with a bustier top and a sultry waist high split. Center part straight tresses and metallic sandals finished up her look.

Ashlee Simpson in Yanina Couture at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Ashlee Simpson was a presenter this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

She posed on the red carpet wearing a YANINA SPRING 2017 COUTURE black see-through floral, floor length dress with a high neckline and long bell sleeves. 

Over-sized bell or trumpet sleeves can be hard to pull off and it's not working on Ashlee for me. Also  the creases are a bit unfortunate and the hair should have been off-the-shoulders. What do you think of Ashlee's look?

Halsey in Redemption Couture at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Before you presented, Halsey posed on the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards this evening(May 20th) at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

Showing some leg, she wore a REDEMPTION FALL 2017 COUTURE black strapless ruched dress with a voluminous ruffle, skirted waist that flowed into a dramatic train. Halsey's dress is also featured in the FALL 2018 collection in a sparkly colorway which I prefer.

However the dress works for the occasion but I can't get on board with that eye make-up.  LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and ROGER VIVIER embellished buckle sandals finished up her look. Are you feeling Halsey's look?

2017 Billboard Women in Music Awards

The 2017 Billboard Women in Music took place last night(November 30th) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in LA.

Selena Gomez was head to toe in a VERSACE SPRING 2018 look and she looked amazing. A wavy up-do and minimal make-up finished up her flirty, edgy look. EF COLLECTION jewelry finished up her look.

Ciara was also a stand out in this custom VERA WANG look which featured a white off-the-shoulder, split detail draped dress with a black patent mini skirt underneath. The top looks a bit too tight and this would looked so much better with trousers. Remember when Emma Watson wore something similar by Osman? EFFY jewelry finished up her look.

Taraji P. Henson was serving up a 70's vibe wearing a SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2017 COUTURE long sleeve sheer color-block silk-chiffon dress with a belted. Love her hair but her bust & the wide belt doesn't work together. However I don't get why she would wear those nipple pasties.

2017 Billboard Music Awards Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(May 21st) the 2017 Billboard Music Awards took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. To see all of the celeb looks click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Vanessa Hudgens who co-hosted the event, wore a MARCHESA FALL 2017 floor length dress which featured a satin bow top with an unexpected cut-out and a thigh-high split velvet skirt. The dress was shown in black on the runway but I am glad that she wore it in pink. She finished up her look with a side parted short cut, pink smokey eyes, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and JIMMY CHOO strappy sandals.

Noah Cyrus wore an all black look courtesy of JOHN GALLIANO. Her SPRING 2017 ensemble featured a mesh layered crop top and mesh layered cuff trousers. Center part waves, smokey eyes and black sandals finished up her look.

Halsey wore a SERGIO HUDSON latex bralet and a JUUN J FALL 2017 belted asymmetrical khaki skirt. The bralet looks a bit tight but it is latex. JENNIFER FISHER earrings, ALEXIS BITTAR cuffs, VITA FEDE earrings and MONIKA CHIANG lace-up sandals finished up her look.

Following her amazing performance, Celine Dion posed backstage this evening(May 21st) in the press room at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

The singer looked beautiful wearing a STEPHANE ROLLAND SPRING 2017 COUTURE white long sleeve floor length crepe gown with dramatic satin shoulders, a plunging neckline and a embellished bodice. 

Although it is not visible, the plunging neckline features a sheer illusion panel which worked on the gown. Their is nothing I would change or add to this look because Celine looked simply beautiful and this gown was perfect for her tribute performance. Are you loving Celine's look as well?

Lea Michele & Hailee Steinfeld both wore DAVID KOMA this evening(May 21st) at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lea Michele wore a custom RESORT 2017 black crepe & a sporty mesh panel floor length dress with triple spaghetti straps and black briefs underneath for coverage. This dress looks a little too long on Lea but it suits her style & the occasion. A center part top knot statement jewelry finished up her look. 

Hailee Steinfeld wore a FALL 2017 sleeveless black crepe & silver beaded sequin see-throught midi dress with with a black bra & briefs underneath for coverage. Hailee was easily my favorite here as I liked her sultry, edgy look. JACOB & CO jewelry, CASADEI boots, pulled back tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look.

Before her attendance at the Critics awards, Hailee Steinfeld attended the 2016 Billboard Women in Music Event & Z100's 2016 Jingle Ball in New York on Friday(December 9th).

Later that evening, she performed at Z100's 2016 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden. She hit the carpet in a RASARIO single sleeve ruffled lace & sequin mini dress styled with black sandals. A center part low ponytail and smokey eyes offset with a nude lip finished up her look.
