2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards Wrap-up

The 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards took place yesterday evening(June 15th) at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA. The show airs Monday(June 17th) and you can see all of the red carpet looks HERE.

Tiffany Haddish struck a pose in a custom JONATHAN SIMKHAI one long sleeve sequin dress, with a bow shoulder, a ruched bodice and a thigh-high split. For me, this is her best look, which was topped off with STUART WEITZMAN sandals.

Aubrey Plaza looked great in head to toe in MIU MIU which featured a FALL 2019 sequin & ruffle panel dress, a black embellished clutch and silver embellished sandals.

Tessa Thompson in Thom Browne at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Tessa Thompson has wrapped up the promo tour for Men In Black and yesterday evening(June 15th) in Santa Monica, CA, she was on hand for the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards at the Barker Hanger.

For her appearance, she was head to toe in THOM BROWNE which featured a SPRING 2019 gold sequin blazer which she wore as a dress, a black box clutch and black platforms oxfords which was saw in the SPRING 2018 collection.  

I actually think she could have pulled this off with the white sheer printed catsuit but given the weather, I see why it was left out. However her look still feels off-season and while it's not her best, it's weirdly great. But her beauty look is flawless. Do you like Tessa's or the runway's styling better?

Storm Reid in Etro at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Storm Reid struck a pose on the red carpet during the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards at the Barker Hanger yesterday evening(June 15th) in Santa Monica, CA.

Storm was serving up a modern renaissance vibe courtesy of ETRO. Her FALL 2019 ensemble featured a yellow velvet embroidered jacket with lace sleeves and trim, with a white collared shirt-dress & matching white dolphin shorts underneath, and a embroidered belt.

While I think Storm looks great, I actually prefer the runway's styling. This look would have been perfect on her in the fall, especially with the runway's boots. Do you prefer the runway's styling as well or did Storm sell you on the look with the sandals?

Kiernan Shipka made her way to the red carpet yesterday evening(June 15th) for the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA.

For most of her looks that I have seen on & off the carpet, Kiernan was wearing FENDI, so it is no surprise that she chose the brand for this outing. She was head to toe in the label which featured 'Roma Amor' logo stripe one-shoulder jersey sheath dress and the matching logo sandals. 

I love this look on her Kiernan and the colorful stripes is what keeps this from being a boring logo dress. A complimentary beauty look rounded out her look.
