43rd People's Choice Awards Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(January 18th) the 43rd People's Choice Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Ali Larter wore a ZAC POSEN SPRING 2017 strapless printed lattice cut-out dress. Ali's dress wasn't shown on the runway with a belt or waistband but thankfully she added a contrasting burgundy waistband to her dress which matching her JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Melissa McCarthy never shy's away from print and I thought this black floral printed peplum top with the matching leggings from her MELISSA MCCARTHY SEVEN7 FALL 2017 collection looked great on her. Center part waves and black sandals finished up her look.

Victoria Justice wore a YOUSEF AL-JASMI gold beaded mini dress styled simply with metallic strappy sandals. Center part straight tresses and a colored lip finished up her look.

Yara Shahidi in Off-White & Bibhu Mohapatra at the 43rd People's Choice Awards

On hand as a presenter, Yara Shahidi attended the 43rd People's Choice Awards yesterday(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. She wore two different looks for the occasion. 

For the red carpet, she wore a OFF-WHITE SPRING 2017 black & white harlequin printed chiffon ruffled floor length dress. I love this dress and I think Yara is beautiful but this is not for her. It is basically swallowing her and is suited for someone on the taller side.

While inside, she changed into a BIBHU MOHAPATRA SPRING 2017 ensemble to present on stage. Her look featured a sheer white long sleeve top with a contrasting black ruffled panel and a printed skirt. It appears that the split was closed on Yara's skirt which did not hurt her look. Also I wish the ruffled panel on the top sat on her like it did on the model. However I still like this playful look over her first one. ADE SAMUEL red sandals finished up her look.

Skipping the red carpet, Jordana Brewster posed backstage in the press room during the 43rd People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live this evening(January 18th) in LA.

She wore a pretty sky blue J. MENDEL SPRING 2017 pleated halter floor length silk-chiffon dress with a key-hole top and a drop waist detail. 

This is a lovely dress and color but we have seen it in many variations before. She finished up her look with GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals, a pulled back ponytail, smokey eyes offset with a nude lip and IRENE NEUWIRTH earrings.

Following her win, Sofia Vergara posed backstage at the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Serving up some cleavage, she wore a MARCHESA PRE-FALL 2017 two-tone dress which featured a gold beaded top and a white ruffled hem skirt. 

This is actually a cute dress but it is hard to appreciate because Sofia's breast took center stage. Also the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN platform sandals which are her favorite style, are a bit too heavy with this dress. Center part waves and a red lip finished up her.

Skipping the red carpet, Sarah Jessica Parker posed backstage following her win at the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Taking a fashion risk as always, she wore a J .MENDEL FALL 2016 COUTURE strapless bronze metallic pleated asymmetrical dress with a cut-out bodice and a contrasting nude pleated tulle underlining.  

SJP is wearing a modified version of the dress which was shown as a gown on the runway and she also added detachable sleeves. For me, I don't think the color works in her favor and her look is a bit too match-y match-y with the sandals as well. Does the color & SJP's version of the dress work for you?

Following an minor accident on the set of her hit show 'Quantico', Priyanka Chopra seems to be back in good spirits. She was on hand for the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

She wore a SALLY LAPOINTE SPRING 2017 peach ensemble which featured a strapless asymmetrical top and the matching fringe skirt. 

Priyanka is so beautiful but she has yet to deliver a style worthy moment. This is a cute ensemble but the skirt looks a little tight and I think a more interesting pair of sandals over the SCHUTZ pair that she is wearing could have brought this look to life. Did Priyanka sell her look to you?

Before she walked away a winner, Blake Lively posed on the red carpet at the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Showing some leg, she wore a ELIE SAAB SPRING 2017 black long sleeve see-through beaded fringe mini dress. Blake's mini was shown with a belt on the runway which she ditched and she also added a bra for coverage. 

I wish the hair was off-the-shoulder but I see this dress working on someone like Hailee Steinfeld. Also a simple, black strappy sandal would have been ideal over her LOUBOUTIN black spike pumps. The ROGER VIVIER 'Boite de Nuit' clutch and LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry topped off her look. Do you think this dress suits Blake?

On break from promoting the new season of her hit show 'Shades of Blue' & her new new upcoming dance show, Jennifer Lopez attended the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th)at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA.

Before her win, JLo worked her curves on the carpet wearing a REEM ACRA PRE-FALL 2017 black long sleeve velvet gown with a cut-out chain embellished bodice and a short train detail. For coverage under her top, JLo opted for a nude bra.

Beauty wise, she kept it simple with a center part, slick ponytail and a ponytail and a smokey eye offset with a nude lip. I think this gown looks amazing on JLo but I don't like the nude bra showing underneath and this borders being a bit too much for this show. However you can't deny how beautiful she is. H. STERN jewelry and BRIAN ATWOOD heels finished up her look. Do you think JLo's look worked for the occasion?

Ruby Rose has been out promoting her new film but the actress stepped out this evening(January 18th) for the 43rd People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Taking on a sultry, business look, she wore a red VERONICA BEARD SPRING 2017 two-piece suit with cropped trousers. I like this suit on Ruby but the styling is a let down. 

The vampy lips are just too dark against this red suit and the basic black pumps are a predictable, safe choice. The suit only gets' my vote. DANA REBECCA DESIGNS & EF COLLECTION rings and a JACQUIE AICHE necklace finished up her look. Are you sold on Ruby's overall look?

When it comes to Kristen Bell's style, it's not bad but it's not the best either. She hit the red carpet at the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Turning to Russian designer RASARIO, she a SPRING 2017 strapless bustier black  silver houndstooth jumpsuit which featured a contrasting white pleated ruffle bra cup and wide-legs. 

For me, I don't think this jumpsuit works on Kristen. It's just not her style and the pants aren't the most flattering. EVA FEHREN earrings, side parted medium waves and dark lashes offset with a natural lip completed her look. Did Kristen sell this look to you?

Chelsea Kane stepped out this evening(January 18th) for the 43rd People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

She hit the red carpet in a TONY WARD SPRING 2017 black floral & lace embroidered dress with a bateau neckline, bracelet length sleeves, a belted waist, a side front high slit and a black bodysuit underneath for coverage.

I would have liked to see Chelsea with a red matte lip color but instead she opted for a glossy lip. For me, because we have see something similar before, it doesn't excite, it's just okay for me. A red clutch and a short bob with bangs finished up her look.

Peyton List hit the red carpet this evening(January 18th) at the 43rd People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a YANINA SPRING 2016 COUTURE sheer illusion pink cocktail mini dress with lavender beaded feather appliqués. 

Without the feathered appliques, this dress would have washed Peyton out. It's definitely a cute look for the young starlet. A high bun, shiny pink lips, a box clutch and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals finished up her look. What do you think of Peyton's look?
