'Mufasa: The Lion King' LA Premiere

On Monday(December 10th) the world premiere of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King' took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Blue Ivy looked like a beautiful, golden princess wearing a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO strapless metallic gown with a short train in the back and a nipped wist. My only quibble is that I wish that this was a straight neckline and not a sweetheart. Still, she looked beautiful.

Disney's The Lion King London Premiere Wrap-up

Following the LA premiere, Florence Kasumba joined the rest of Disney's 'The Lion King' cast and more in London to attend the royal premiere of the film at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square yesterday evening(July 14th).

Meghan Duchess of Sussex wore a JASON WU COLLECTION black long sleeve mesh panel flare dress. This is a simple, but classic, sophisticated look for the Duchess. However one of my issues with the dress is the waistline. It sits a little too high on the waist, making this dress a tad unflattering on her and the fit on the bust is off. Nonetheless, this is not a bad look for the new mom. NIKOS KOULIS earrings, an GUCCI clutch and AQUAZZURA pumps finished up her look.

Beyonce worked the split on her custom CONG TRI gown which is based off of the fashion house FALL 2019 collection. Her yellow draped, off-the-shoulder gown, featured an sheer illusion bodice, and a short flowing train. When it came down to meeting Prince Harry & Duchess Meghan, she tried to hide the split at first in some images, which made her look uncomfortable. However the idea of the dress is definitely fitting for Bey and the color is an eye-catching ode to the film. But overall, I feel the design needs to modified, especially the bodice.

Florence Kasumba in David Tlale at Disney's 'The Lion King' London Premiere

Florence Kasumba was one of many stars in the 'Black Panther' and she brought her talents to  Disney's 'The Lion King'. She was on hand for the royal London premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square yesterday evening(July 14th).

She delivered in Jenny Packham at the LA premiere but I am loving her more in this unique creation from South African designer DAVID TLALE. Her  FALL 2019 ensemble maybe off-season but Florence effortlessly pulls off the print and the voluminous structure & silhouette.

Beauty wise, she went with a subtle red lip, for a pop of color and wingtip eyes, which topped off her look along with SOBOYE jewelry.

Disney's 'The Lion King' LA Premiere Wrap-up

The red carpet was full of celebs for the premiere of Disney's 'The Lion King' at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening(July 9th). Beyonce, Tiffany Haddish, Zooey Deschanel and more were on hand for the occasion.

Florence Kasumba who also starred in Black Panther, sparkled beautifully in the JENNY PACKHAM PRE-FALL 2019 'Nemi' black and gold sequin embellished, v-neck gown.

Shahadi Wright wore a sleeveless MIU MIU embellished, v-neck gown, which I think would have been so much better on her in a knee length version. However she still looks pretty and I love her big hair.

Skai Jackson wore a CONG TRI FALL 2019 silver metallic dress, with ruffle sleeves. Skai is always serving looks and I love her flawless beauty look.

Beyonce in Alexander McQueen at Disney's 'The Lion King' LA Premiere

It's been a long time since Beyonce actually posed on the red carpet but that changed yesterday evening(July 9th) for the premiere of Disney's 'The Lion King' at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

I was hoping that she would wear a look that was an ode to the film like she did at the Wearable Art Gala, but she didn't. However she switched things up on us, wearing an masculine inspired look by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN.

Her look consisted of a FALL 2019 black & silver embellished jacket from the menswear collection and a PRE-FALL 2019 sheer black & silver crystal embellished skirt, with an split. Somehow I feel like she could have pulled off a strapless version of the dress or the even the jacket on it's own, which would have been perfect. But I kinda do like how the pieces from the two collections were united together.

Zooey Deschanel in Abodi at Disney's 'The Lion King' LA Premiere

Zooey Deschanel made a rare red carpet appearance yesterday evening(July 9th) for the premiere of Disney's 'The Lion King' at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

She chose a ABODI SPRING 2019 white and black tulle polka dot, cocktail dress. Zooey's look wouldn't be Zooey's if she wasn't wearing tights, which is why I am not surprised that she is wearing them here, in the summer. From the print, double bow bodice, puffy sleeves and asymmetrical hem, this dress has a lot of details going on with it.

While I don't think it's a bad piece, it just feels too tween on Zooey. Although this is something right in her style lane, I think it would have better results on someone like Storm Reid. ROGER VIVIER pumps, a black clutch and a ponytail with bangs finished up her look. What do you think of Zooey's look?

Tiffany Haddish in Libertine at 'Disney's 'The Lion King' LA Premiere

Tiffany Haddish stepped out yesterday evening(July 9th) for Disney's 'The Lion King' premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Tiffany is one of the many celebs that keeps the power suit look going strong for women. She shined, rocking a red and blue printed piece from the LIBERTINE FALL 2019 collection.

I like this suit and the hues look great against her skin but I find the jacket to be a tad tight on the bust. Also I would definitely swap the pumps out for ankle strap sandals. Statement earrings and a side parted, slick wavy hairstyle finished up her look.
