Orange Is The New Black Season Four NYC Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Taylor Schilling & Laverne Cox, the rest of the from the Orange Is The New Black cast hit the black for the Season Four premiere in NYC at the SVA Theater.

Taryn Manning wore a yellow strapless patterned floor length dress which I think is too long on her. Also the hair clashes with the gown and on this occasion, that dark oxblood lip is a huge No. 

Uzo Aduba looked simply chic in a dress from one of her go to designers, ELIZABETH KENNEDY. Her white fitted calf length dress with an contrasting black beaded neckline featured some unfortunate creases but it still worked. A side parted straight bob, a red lip, a gold box clutch and red suede ankle strap sandals completed her look. 

Laura Prepon wore the NHA KHANH SPRING 2016 'Maggie' dress and honestly I want to know what her thought process was with this look.  The dress is like vintage prom which can be hard for anyone to make modern. The KOTUR clutch doesn't go and I cringe just looking at those CECELIA NEW YORK white Mary Jane pumps. FOREVERMARK jewelry completed her look. Sadly her stylist did this.

Taylor Schilling in Osman at the Orange Is The New Black Season Four NYC Premiere

Yesterday evening Taylor Schilling hit the black carpet at the Netflix Orange Is The New Black Season Four premiere at the SVA Theater in New York.

For the occasion, she wore the OSMAN FALL 2016 'Dessie' black one-shoulder knee length dress which featured a pleated neckline. Taylor's dress didn't hit the runway but a similar two-piece of version of the did. 

While I am thankfully that Taylor didn't wear black pumps, I can't say that I like her black & silver FRANCESCO RUSSO pumps with this dress either. They just got lost in the carpet but I think a simple strappy sandal would have been a better choice. However she still nailed this look. A complimentary up-do and a bold red lip finished up her look.

Laverne Cox in LaQuan Smith at the Orange Is The New Black Season Four NYC Premiere

Laverne Cox is a beautiful but her style has not been consistent. Yesterday evening she attended the Netflix Orange Is The New Black Season Four premiere at the  SVA Theater in New York.

She hit the black carpet in a LAQUAN SMITH FALL 2016 ensemble which featured a silver & nude underlay long sleeve beaded bodysuit and a shimmer olive sheer panel pencil skirt. Her ensemble wasn't shown with a belt in the look book but Laverne added a gold chain belt. 

I thought she looked great here and compared to her last few outings, this is a much better look. However those shimmer STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals look a bit small on her feet. A complimentary hair & make-up topped off her look.
