Before she attended the LA Polo Classics, Charlize Theron was spotted arriving for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday(September 30th) in LA.

Rocking an all black look, she wore a button down shirt and CELINE FALL 2021 high-waisted belted leather culottes. I actually love the sweater that the culottes was shown with on the runway but Charlize's styling works.

Lena Dunham in Tanya Taylor at the 8th Annual Blossom Ball

We may not be fans of Lena Dunham's style but once in a while she does something that we can all appreciate. Last night she attended the 8th Annual Blossom Ball at Pier Sixty on Chelsea Piers in New York. 

She hit the red carpet in a white blazer with a white lattice cut-out crop top underneath and TANYA TAYLOR SPRING 2016 silk colorful stripe & flower detail culottes with a tie waist. While I like the idea of this ensemble & the fact that she seems to be having fun with fashion, this could use some editing.

For starters, that choker should have never been added, the top is too tight, a simple cami would have worked and the unfortunate creases along with her pose doesn't help with the appeal of the culottes. However the culottes look a bit tight as well. With that said, I still appreciate her choices even if this is not a winning look. Did Lena sell this look to you?

Chanel 2019 Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner

Yesterday evening(April 29th) during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, Chanel hosted it's annual artists dinner at Balthazar Restaurant in New York. All of the guest were wearing CHANEL unless otherwise stated.

Dewanda Wise was one of my favorites as well wearing a printed crop jacket and white tweed pants. This is such a chic look and the red lip adds a touch of drama.

Angela Bassett is one of my favorites in general but I am not sure what's happening here with her look but the beauty look is flawless. She is wearing a GRETA CONSTANTINE pussy bow, mesh bodysuit and CASADEI boots.

Katie Holmes kept it simple in a black leather suit by ZEYNEP ARCAY but she is carrying a CHANEL bag. If I had to change anything here, it would be the black suede bow pumps. They weaken the overall look. A sleek, statement pump would have been ideal.

It's been a while since we have seen Rebecca Hall on the carpet but she stepped out last night(November 10th) for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association(HFPA) & InStyle celebration of the 2017 Golden Globe Award Season at Catch in LA.

For the occasion, she wore celeb favorite brand of the moment MONSE. Her SPRING 2017 ensemble featured a blue & white stripe sequin drape top and stripe cuff culottes. 

I am not sold on this ensemble on Rebecca and the creases on the culottes are a bit distracting. However I actually like the pieces in general but black sandals wouldn't have been my shoe choice. Are you feeling this look on Rebecca?

Amanda Seyfried & Lily James at the 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' Germany Photocall

Amanda Seyfried and Lily James have been promoting their new film 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' and earlier today(July 12th) in Hamburg, Germany, they attended the photocall. 

Amanda Seyfried wore a simple black tank top and the VERONICA BEARD 'Lyla' cornflower blue culottes which she teamed with GIVENCHY sandals and sunglasses. The culottes are the main attraction here because of the color and her overall look works nicely for the occasion. 

Lily James had to endure annoying creases on her BROCK COLLECTION PRE-FALL 2018 ruffle floral calf-length dress with a belted waist and a peplum detail in the back. In the look book, the dress was shown with a burgundy belt but Lily switched it out for white. However I wish she kept the burgundy belt as it played perfectly off of the florals. An up-do, pinks lips and olive pumps finished up her look.

The playful dots and the CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA 'Ursula' red platform sandals dressed up her causal culottes with a chic finish. TARA HIRSBERG diamond studs, an ANYA HINDMARCH white clutch, blue eye shadow, a pink lip and a side parted light wavy hairstyle completed her look.

Tilda Swinton in Chanel at the 'Isle of Dogs' 68th Berlinale International Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

To promote her new film 'Isle of Dogs', Tilda Swinton made an appearance at the photocall, premiere  & opening ceremony today(February 15th) during the 68th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany. On both occasions, she wore CHANEL PRE-FALL 2018 

For the photocall at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, she wore a burgundy tweed jacket with contrasting gold buttons with the matching culottes and black lace-up oxfords. Simple sophisticated, loving this look which she easily nailed. 

For the premiere at the Berlinale Palace, she wore a similar look but in a tuxedo form. Her black culottes tuxedo was shown with a bow tie on the runway which I wish she kept. However it doesn't hurt her look without it. This is my favorite, elegantly cool with masculine appeal.

Yesterday afternoon(September 22nd) Juliette Lewis stopped by AOL studios in New York for an appearance on their Build Series to discuss season 2 of 'Secrets and Lies'. 

For her appearance, she wore an DIANE VON FURSTENBERG ensemble which featured a sleeveless black & blue lace embroidered turtleneck top and black culottes. 

For pops of colors, she added a pink lip color and red STELLA LUNA ankle strap pumps. Simple but cute and I like the culottes. Side parted waves completed her look.

While black or red could have been her shoe color choice as well, the white heels makes a better impact with her pieces. A rosy lip color, light waves with bangs and silver hoops finished up her great look.

Laura Dern in Christian Dior at the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Following her attendance at the SAG awards, Laura Dern received the 'Cinema Vanguard' award at the 35th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival yesterday(January 21st) in Santa Barbara, CA.

I love how women have been dominating the masculine inspired look on the carpet but these pieces that Laura have on by CHRISTIAN DIOR, do not work together. Love the vest however I don't know if it is because of the pulling of the belt but the fit is not good. 

Also it does not look great with those culottes or the top underneath. The culottes should have been tailored pants but if the vest was longer, she could have worn it as a dress. Head styling is great, that's all. What do you think of Laura's look?

Vanessa Hudgens will soon be coming to TV, in a new comedy called 'Powerless'. Yesterday she attended the NBCUniversal 2016 Upfront Presentation at Rockefeller Center in New York City, NY.

She hit the blue carpet in a MONIQUE LHUILLIER RESORT 2016 ensemble which featured a sleeveless yellow beaded crop top with the matching culottes. I don't like the unfortunate creases or fit of the culottes on Vanessa but I do appreciate this on trend ensemble. 

Also the detailed neckline gets lost because of her pretty curls. I do prefer the models presentation especially with those printed sandals. JACQUE AICHE jewelry, a SAINT LAURENT chain strap shoulder bag and nude STAURT WEITZMAN sandals topped off her look. What do you think of Vanessa's look?

Alesha Dixon & Amanda Holden at the Britain's Got Talent 2016 Launch

Earlier today Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden hit the red carpet at the Britain's Got Talent 2016 Launch at the Regent Street Cinema in London.

Alesha Dixon showed off her lavender hair wearing a H&M long sleeve black mesh top with an HOUSE OF CB black bandeau underneath and white sheer PAPER LONDON culottes. What bothered the most here about Alesha's look is the fact that her black shorts can be seen through her culottes. They sheer so of course she needed coverage, I just wish she went a different route. Cute GUISEPPE ZANOTTI black sandals and gold jewelry completed her look. 

Amanda Holden went the sultry route wearing a VICTORIA BECKHAM red fitted crepe dress which featured delicate asymmetrical straps, a short split neck and a two-way zipper in the back. Beauty wise, she went with a smokey eye, offset with a light pink lip and straight off-the-shoulder tresses. GIANVITO ROSSI red sandals and gold jewelry completed her look.

#GirlHero Awards Luncheon Wrap-up

Along with Olivia Munn, Chandler Kinney, Yara Shahidi and Sabrina Carpenter attended the #GirlHero Awards Luncheon on yesterday(October 14th) at the SLS Hotel in LA.

Chandler Kinney is not a red carpet regular but the 'Lethal Weapon' actress tends to deliver great looks. She stepped out in a white button down shirt which was knotted at the waist, a PEGGY HARTANTO SPRING 2018, HELIOPOLIS jewelry, a pink & white clutch and pink LORIBLU pumps which topped off her great look. 

Yara Shahidi who was also an honoree, was head to toe in CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2019 which featured a yellow double breasted, embellished cady jacket, a white long sleeve tuxedo shirt, plaid shorts and nude floral embroidered knee boots. There is a lot of details & prints going on here but the look is fun & bold and works on someone like Yara. 

Sabrina Carpenter took on the bow trend courtesy of MARC JACOBS. She wore a FALL 2018 black bell cuff shirt and black wide-leg culottes which was adorned with a bow waist sash, which she styled with black platform sandals. The idea of this ensemble is cute but it doesn't work on her.

Michelle Dockery is back on the scene with her new TV show 'Good Behavior' and on Monday(November 14th) she attended the premiere at the Roxy Hotel in New York City.

She hit the red carpet in celeb favorite brand of the moment, MONSE. Her SPRING 2017 pinstripe ensemble featured a sleeveless belted v-neck top and the matching asymmetrical culottes. 

Michelle's top appears to be a modified version of the runway's which is more tailored and featured a matching belt choker. Kerry Washington has been giving us some looks during this pandemic and she posted her new look to instagram yesterday(December 9th). The picture was taken by her huzbin(husband) which she noted on her page. 

She posed for the gram in a FRAME FALL 2020 brown leather button down shirt, with the matching brown leather culottes. Brown is a tough color to wear but I really like the leather ensemble.

Yesterday(August 6th) Alyssa Milano stepped out in two different looks to promote her new Netflix series 'Insatiable'. She posted her look to her instagram page. 

First she stopped by Good Morning America and she posed for the gram wearing a PEGGY HARTANTO SPRING 2018 brown one-shoulder, culottes jumpsuit featuring side pockets and contrasting red side panels. While I think her LORIBLU color-block sandals worked perfectly with her jumpsuit, the ELISABETTA FRANCHI bag feels out of place. She finished up with pink lips, layered tresses and LANA jewelry. 

Next, she stopped by Live with Kelly & Ryan, posing for the gram wearing a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO PRE-FALL 2018 one sleeve dress with a cutout neckline one side. Alyssa looks great in this dress but on this occasion, the look book's matching pumps actually works better than her navy SAM EDELMAN pumps. H. STERN jewelry, a KATE SPADE NEW YORK bag and a up-do finished up her look.

Chanel Fall 2019 Couture Paris Fashion Show Front Row

Margot Robbie and more made their way to Paris for Paris Couture Fashion Week, to attend the Chanel Fall 2019 Couture fashion show, which was held today(July 2nd). All of the guest were wearing CHANEL. 

Margot Robbie is an brand ambassador for the fashion house, so she chose a look from the RESORT 2020 collection. Her black & white dotted jacket and black & white printed leggings, was accessorized with an chain strap bag and cutout back heels. I like how the ensemble was styled on the runway with the colored accessories but Margot looked great as well. However I would swap the shoes out for pumps or oxfords.
