Andrew Buckler Spring / Summer 2012

Yesterday ANDREW BUCKLER took over a street in the meatpacking district to debut his Spring/Summer 2012 menswear collection. The whole show idea to me was very creative. The male models took to the streets in classic pieces but with a urban edge. Dropped crotch pants, knee length shorts, sweaters, long sleeve over-sized tops that included details like zipper, diagonal buttons and draped accents all tied the concept of his collection together. He went back to the Industrial way of dressing, showing the rugged American man who was a trendsetter. In the mix of his collection, their were spots of acid wash denim and leather with color palettes of navy, black and grey. Accessories included messenger backpacks and bifocal sunglasses that were playful with a retro vibe. All I can say is, men get inspired because Andrew created the perfect recipe in his collection to fullfill your wardrobe needs.
