So yesterday I attended the presentation for JOY CIOCI'S Spring / Summer 2012 collection for NYFW at Lincoln Center. The collection was so colorful and feminine with a vintage feel but still very modern. Chartreuse, orange and lavender was the color palette in the collection. These colors have already shown up on several runways since fashion week started on Thursday, do I suspect a trend? Ruffles, lace and cut-out detailing were the key elements in Joy's collection. I just loved the old Hollywood Glamour feel that I was getting and the over-sized hats were so chic. There are a number of red carpet pieces that I hope to see on a A-list starlet.
