Napoleon Perdis Introduces the: 'NUDE BAR'

NAPOLEON PERDIS just launched his "Nude Bar" collection and I had the opportunity to try it out and I really like it. Nude lips and natural looking make-up is a huge trend right now on and off the red carpet and on the runways. What I love about the lip gloss in this collection is that they are not sticky and are very light on the lips. Basically the whole collection to me is light and non-greasy. The shades in the collection are small now but with the popularity of this trend, I am sure it will expand into more shades. One trick I learnerd from one of the chief make-up arists from Napoleon, is that you can mix a shade from the Luminous Lip Veil collection with one of the DéVine Goddess Lipstick to create a shade of nude suitable to your skin tone. The collection is available at the now Napoleon Perdis Concept stores and http://napoleonperdis.com/usa/, Nordstrom and nordstrom.com fall 2012.

Glossy, sheer yet comfortably creamy, these new nude shades are a welcome addition to the Luminous Lip Veil collection. Napoleon has carefully created four covetable shades to suit most skins and sync in with your natural lip tone while catching light for the most flattering effect. The Luminous Lip Veil formula is that of a liquid lipstick and has been enriched with Vitamins E and C and Soybean Oil to nourish the lips. The brush ended wand makes application easy, Available in four new shades: Cocoa(rich brown), Caramel Kiss, Pretty in Peach(peach nude) and Cafe Au Lait(coffee). All available for $23.

Off Duty Tinted Moisturizer gives a hint of color for those days when you don't want to wear foundation. Three skin flattering hues combine to release a lightweight skin tint for a low key natural look. The hydrating formula gives the skin a shot of radiance and a moisture boost thanks to Encapsulated Glacier Water, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, Green Tea Extracts, Glycerin and Chamomile. This can also be worn as a hydrating pre-foundation base to prime and slightly tint the skin while helping your foundation to last longer. Available in two shades, Light/Medium and Medium/Dark for $42.

These new nude shades have been enriched with natural oils to care and condition the lips and have been named after Greek Goddesses, in keeping with the DéVine Goddess Lipstick collection. These are a cream lipstick with a modern matte finish. The come in three new shades, Demeter(Goddess of fertility), Gamelia(Goddess of nuptials) and Iris(Goddess of the rainbow) and retail for $24.

A new take on our Double Agent Rouge lip palette. A mirrored compact holds a cream lipstick and a colour-matched lip powder for a matte payoff and longer-lasting wear.

PRO TIP: Do as Napoleon does and use the cream lipstick as a face-flattering nude blush to subtly contour the cheeks.

Double Agent Nude Lip Palette is perfectly portable and comes with for touch ups and brush applicators. Available in one shade $29
