The Kathy Duliakas 5th Annual Celebrity Oscar Suite & Party

The Fashionista Stories had the opportunity to attend the Kathy Duliakas 5th Annual Celebrity Oscar Suite & party in celebration of the 85th Annual Academy Awards last Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California.  

The Oscar Gift Lounge was filled with luxury gifts, lively music, gourmet food and award winning Tequila by KAH. The luxury lifestyle gift lounge offered opportunities to indulge in your favorites gifts, engage in the LIVE Sweet Swag twitter lounge and support the KIND Campaign and anti-bullying. 

We were on our way into a luxurious lifestyle. The lounge features an array of great gifts. We started with  Big.Bold.Fierce a T-Shirt clothing line By Whitney Anderson. Her Inspiration behind the line is fine arts; celebrities & music. She gifted guest with her latest designs on her "dreams and fun things" she states.

 

Jewelry and accessories line; Perch and Twisted Silver was a hit at the entrance of the lounge. The jewelry line captures "The Perfectly imperfect," states Deborah Mitchell the designer of the line.  She continues "All the Celebrities love it because its different; without being weird." Carolyn Hennesy from True Blood walked in the Oscars Gifting lounge with her Twisted Silver jewelry on and Danielle Nicolet loves the big butterfly from the Perch line. She adds a "Its unique line and inexpensive." Twisted Silver and Perch use Recyclable and vintage antique piece to keep the line original and one of a kind.

Cosmetics and Skin Care lines filled the luxury gift lounge with an array of gifts including, LEX Cosmetics; A line of cosmetics that gives you a chance to create your own nail polish! The cosmetic line donates 10% of your purchase to a charity that is important to you. Which makes the nail polish creation more fun, and special.

The guests skin radiated throughout the lounge with the help of skin care lines; LA SkinAesthetic. They provided an oxygen facial which hydrated the face with a serum, moisturizer and plump for women & men.

Next, the luxurious line from Isabeau. Now being sold in the USA; The Academy Awards Gift lounge is among the first to try the exclusive gift. Celebrities like Kimora Lee Simons, and Brian White adore the all natural ingredient product. Isabeau is great for all skin types, provides a matte finish and evens the skin tone. This is a must have moisturizer.  

Then, I made my way over to Nava Natural. The Natural organic skin care line provides healing to your face, it smells good and feels good. Nava Natural is a wellness product that not only  treats the outside of your skins but penetrates to heal the inside. It is invigorating. Nava natural is a great line for healing your skin from the inside out.

Just when we thought we saw it all; guest were spoiled with selections of fun fashions and trendy trinkets. We were lucky enough to spot Project Runway ninth seasons designer, Gordana. This year she decided she wanted to gift her guest with something you can wear, that is effortless and easy. Her gift was exactly what most guest want today. She literally took her designs off her back and gifting her guest, to make sure everyone had a chance to experience her effortlessly chic creation. We next met, with fun fashion innovator; Mary Beth York. She is celebrity make up artist stylist turned designer who created Rock Your Tube Dress. This is a dress that literally comes in a tube, which is great for travel. You can pair the dress with tights, or a leather jacket. Rock Your Tube dress can be worn in many different ways.
